Just installed in my 2015 Toyota Sienna. Working very carefully, it took about 45 minutes. Getting some of the Toyota electrical cables to disconnect from the radio and panel was the hardest part. People more experience and/or smaller fingers will have an easier time of that. Once installed, CarPlay works perfectly (subject to the limitation that I have the cheap screen in my dash so the image quality isn't great). To the guy below complaining that people should just buy a new head unit - I wanted CarPlay but my wife doesn't like change. With this setup, she can use the car precisely as she has since the day we bought it. And when I use it, I get CarPlay.
Hello, Is the Lexus version really not compatible with models before 2013? I have a CT 200h 2011 (EU modell) with Gen6 navi (08HDD, foldable screen). According to NV Connect’s site it’s compatible if the screen uses GVIF and it does. So I’m a little bit confused because according to your site it’s only compatible with CT 200h 2013 - today. Mic functions will retain and when in factory mode your car’s voice dialing and text features will function. When in carplay mode Siri will allow for voice dialing and text features
with the new android auto-updates i have not been able to connect to my toyota sienna2017. nothing showing up on the screen of the vehicle and my phone doesn't auto turn on android auto when i plug in the usb port. is there a workaround or update?
Can you listen to other sources while using carplay? For example, can you listen to the factory satellite or FM radio while viewing carplay apps such as waze?
While the screen is showing carplay you may still operate apps on your phone such as Facebook or Instagram without affecting the operation on carplay. But if you operate map applications or music operations on your phone will transfer over to the carplay screen

This kit does not play Netflix. You will need the phone mirroring kit instead. To play the video on the rear screens you will need to use a video splitter
After you add in the steering wheel control adapter, the backup camera adapter, harness and dash kit, it’ll be more expensive. In addition, installation is more involved and you lose the factory look and feel
@@BeatSonicUS im a little upset yeah . At first i thought the product was just brilliant ! why go buy a new unit if you can install a plug and play module. Surely this would crush your competition. Especially if you introduce a module for mode vehicles....but the price point is just too high. You should reconsider it.

Correct this is not compatible with models before 2013 as the connectors are different and the CAN signals are also different.
