The music is the perfect touch on the very top! I have a BTB map I’ve worked on and off on for a year at this point and I’ve leaned heavily into the classic designs with a touch of Infinite’s hex pillars for flavor such as built-into-terrain walls. If the map is public, you mind sharing?
Thank you very much, I would love to see your map btb! But working with the hexagonal pillars has its meaning, this is what I mean by observing how they behave in the campaign, for example there are structures underground that are sometimes pure hexagonal pillars or are on the edge of the terrain simulating that it has been cut and as for the map it is not finished yet, I continue detailing/polishing and optimizing, in March it will be officially published.
@@naig2732 that’s actually a thought I haven’t had before. The most impressive section I’ve made are a pair of bridges connecting the outer ring section to the inner “garden” of sorts where a Volatile Skewer spawns as the main neutral power weapon. I find Forerunner structures the most fascinating and creative to make personally because you can make a structure that does not need an explanation why it looks the way it does but can simultaneously look amazing and perfectly serve the gameplay and map flow.
@@SpartanNat In fact you are very right, for some reason there are things that don't even make sense and it looks great, in the forge it is difficult to reach a level of graphics like that hahaha
One thing I loved agbout the forerunner art in halo 1 was how alien yet *familiar* it looked. It had some very *human* feeling elements to it. Like the arrows telling you where to go. How locked down doors would have red lights versus the green lights. The architecture and color schemes looked very similar to the pillar of autumn. just bigger. It really shows how the original intent was for forerunners to just be ancient humans.
I understand perfectly, I like the idea that art is seen as an ancient civilization and not as futuristic as in Halo 5, I think that Halo Infinite is a test of the balance between what is advanced technology and an ancient civilization, I love it
Hahahah sorry, I uploaded the wrong video and I uploaded the compressed video that I had. Personally I prefer the current architecture of the Infinix, it gives it that touch of an advanced ancient race and not as futuristic as in Halo 5, what a great personality
