This may be so, but I think @EvolveJake is referring to a LITERAL version of the Med-mist for shield i.e. a BLUE Med-mist that replenishes shield instead of the green one for regular health.
I was watching RUclips while on fortntie. I had just finished a video and went to the RUclips home page and opened a chest in Fortnite. I got medmist and was like “ yo when did this come back” then looked down at RUclips and saw this thumbnail 😂
Did anyone notice during the FNCS changes over the weekend, public match skill based matchmaking was really weird? I was getting matched with reeeeeealllly sweaty players all weekend.
You should be able to sprint with med mist since it’s one handed spray (med kits and bandages need two hand consecration and minis & big pots would spill but spray can would be perfect to be the only sprint heal.
True but I feel like this fizz animation is slower but it could just be me I was thinking like exactly med mist but shield. Fizz is def better for healing teammates.
Med-mist is awesome. With all the mobility in the game right now the idea of having a white health healing item you can just use as often as you want until it runs out is great. Just as much as you need whenever. Get in a fight and get just a Tiny bit of separation? You can get in 15-25 hp real quick before that opponent is back on you again and that Might make all the difference. I know what you are saying about shields being important. But sometimes I take enough damage in a fight to lose a good chunk of white health before winning a fight. So even if I get most of my shields back if they get popped I end up dying from not having any white health. lol.
A Grey gatekeeper over the mythic combat is crazy. A grey gatekeeper does 76 body with a 1.7 fire rate and the mythic combat has 78 damage with a 1.7 fire rate. The combat has much more range, and a greater magazine. I just dont see how the grey gatekeeper is better than the mythic combat in any way.
It's much better cause most shotgun fights usuaylly happen when you are so close to your opponent, gatekeeper not only shoots pretty fast but also does a great damage which makes it much better than the combat, its only advantage is a range.
It’s fine to get more early game heals, it’d be interesting to know exactly how the loot pool is distributed. The common heals are terrible, so I’d put this at better than bandages and not as good as a stack of medkits.
@@Terracronz I don't know anyone who carries 3 med kits, but you could. Usually its a fiz with no white heals. U don't pick up a med kit until towards end of game, and you are lucky to find one.
My default is 2 Nuka-Cola, then FlowFizz if no nitro gloves or 3 big pots if I have nitro gloves. End game I may drop down to a 2-gun loadout and add 3 medlits. But I'm still learning!
I love it. I always thought med mist was ahead of it's time. Also, you can use it while sliding at full speed. Med kits make you slow down to walk speed. And as we all know, speed is the name or the game this season. I think its good. Id rather have it than a medkit.
So I have noticed that they seem to make subtle changes in the game in order to get players to use an item, or adopt something when the numbers show that said item is rarely used or adopted. They certainly can pull numbers and statistics on item uses, easily. So my point is that you said it yourself.... You rarely carry white heals. Most folks do the same - if not a utility slot, then shields over white heals. So therefore, unvaulting this item may change it up a bit, to where maybe some folks who would normally not carry white heals, would now consider it. Goes well with fizz. Why not mix it up, see how or if the numbers change. Random drop near the end of the season, when the loot table is already saturated, is the perfect time to test it. Pretty sure they've dropped seemingly random things right at the end of a season many times before. May be testing so see what the starting line up will be for next season. Makes sense to me. Thoughts?
I feel like the flowberry fiz is very similar to the med mist as the use and one will heal white and other heal sheild. And can use what you want and stop and it doesn’t go away
Surely though it’s the white heal version of a fizz which everyone loves and carries? I get you take shield carry over white but could easily take instead
Perhaps one interesting use of med mist is: in duos, one person could carry med mist and the other carry flow berry fizz. However I think it's probably still better to carry 3 med kits and the other carry 3 big pots. Like all items, there is always a niche use where it really comes in handy, but you can't count on that one niche use. It's like C4, it's certainly useful, but it's not going to be the most effective tool in the vast majority of your encounters. Nuka Colas are still the better healing item. And like you said, shields over white heals because shields are what will take damage first, and heal-offs aren't really a pubs thing.
5:27 Flow berry fizz is literally a shield version of med mist but with less healing potential and it gives you low-gravity
I was coming to say that, thank you😂
Fr
Yup came here to say it
It's funnier when you realize that at the time stamp he talks about this at, he LITERALLY has Flowberry Fizz in his inventory
Love Jake for that lol

You can walk faster with med mist than medkits, but yeah sprinting would be nice
4:10 if you drop and pick up the medallion it gets rid of the lag with shield regeneration
I’m gonna have to try this !
The flow fizz is kinda like shield version of med mist
5:26 similar to flowberry fizz?
Was going to say the same 👍

@@EvolveJake I could definitely see them adding a shield mist that has the extra 50 charge in exchange for no low-grav
I feel like theyd do that in chapter 6, a shield just would probably be too similar

Just like the flowberry fizz they could make the med mist have an affect too
You can use it when moving fast/sliding ..another plus
Isn't the fizz a shield equivalent of the med mist but with slightly less shield

Preference I guess
it's much easier to get close quarters and barrel stuff with the gatekeeper. I still really like the combat for midrange tho

I feel like if they buff med mist to be 250 or 300 heal, it would absolutely be worth carrying
This would make medkits pointless
@@DerGroßeKaktus they already are

150HP is enough to carry the Med Mist over the 100HP Med kit IMO then you add the other perks of use as you want ETC.
Hard to say since kit's stack in 2 though so it's 200 hp with a drawback vs 150 hp with 2 perks

Jake what res do you play on?
Hi Jake! You can drop medallion and pick it up to instantly start shield regeneration.
It should heal in an area like Fizz which is the almost exact shield Version
Surely though it’s the white heal version of a fizz which everyone loves and carries? I get you take shield carry over white but could easily take instead
Wonder if they’re adding it ahead of a change for next season 🤞🏻
I’m prolly still gonna carry nuka colas instead tbh, but I’d definitely take mist over med kits
Thanks Jake. W.
That med mist you can move faster with
I am happy that the all time best healing item is back 👏
Medmist is so much better than medkits, they should add them to reload too
it contains a higher volume then the medkit.
150hp > 100hp
Your my favourite Fortnite player
can you get it in zero build?
5:29 Flow berry fizz bro
It's not the biggest deal for this season, but I would rather carry this then a medkit I have I don't have shields to carry.

They are wired beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro
5:27 Heal a Bit of shield and then put it away. Dosent that sound familiar. Oh Right, Flowberry Fizz.
LETS GO INCREDIBLE GASSY
This town needs a hero
Id like to see the breakdown of how long from 5 health or something of how the speed of the med mist compares to med kits
I think they heal at the same rate or basically the same rate. If you were at 1 hp you would reach 100 at basically the same time.
