Woah, this song's amazing. As a guy who was introduced to Metallica in 1986 when Master came out, I can honestly say this is one of the best song they did since then. Lux Aeterna (or like I call it Lexi Turner LOL) is good too. And you're so cute by the way
This song is so great and in many ways. THe words which I have not yet gotten to hear seem like they will be important. THe riffs and the makeup of the song will appeal to others. I really like this song already. And can't wait to learn it. This video is so cool and different than a lot of videos. I have had several friends that took this way out of life. I hope many get something from this video and find a way to talk to or find a way out of depression which I have also dealt with.
For someone like me that works on a daily basis with people that have suicidal tendencies this song hits the spot for many. I really tip my hat to Metallica for having the balls to touch such a subject as this .. great message and kick ass song \m/ Cant wait for the album!
Metallica have released an amazing new single along with an official music video. The new song turned out to be somewhat longer than “Lux Æterna ”, but, of course, combines the same old-school mood of the musicians, and in general is more eventful and has a more complex structure 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
It was so fun to see you react to this for the first time on the stream and then learn it so fast! This was a great reaction. :) I think many people don't realise how common struggles with this kind of thing are. It's important to talk about. I really appreciate them doing it. And the song is awesome! That's a really cool driving riff, and James's voice sounds great, yeah. Can't wait to see your full cover. \m/
THIS IS AN ENJOYABLE SONG, EACH TIME I LISTEN TO THIS SONG I REALLY ENJOY THE VOCALS, RIFS, GUITAR SOLOS, THE BASS, THE DRUMS AND THE POWERFUL LYRICS. THIS GUYS DID IT AGAIN, THEIR JUST FUCKING AMAZING!!! 🤘🏼🎶
Great reaction Jassy, this is the first time I've heard the song. It sounds awesome and has got a great groove as well as a great melody to it 😀🤘🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If you would like to react to something you may not have heard before, I would recommend the following: the artist Aesthetic Perfection with the song Gods & Gold
This new album is really shaping up to being a real banger by The Mighty Metallica! They seem to be like a fine wine and only get better with age! James sounds great on the album so far!
Being sick and depressed myself, the song gives me a mirror of my situation. Papa Het his voice keeps getting better and better with the years. It is nice to see Metallica making great music again.
It dropped? well someone pick it up, lol. I'm expecting one more release before 72 Seasons comes out it April. I like this song better than Lux Æterna. I'll give this a 8/10. I guess Jassy knows the formula for Metallica's song structure. Another new Metallica song that Jassy can learn in 30 minutes??

very polished & weak for Metallica. Kinda dull but I could listen to this more than Lux. just out of curiosity, has metallica ever done anything u didnt care for?
To be honest, I don't like this song, as well as Lux Æterna: They both sound like a weak attempt to return to the Kill 'Em All sound. But if it was very fresh and energetic then, now it sounds more like a nostalgic attempt to try on their teenage outfit, which they outgrown a long time ago, and there is less energy in these songs than on the Load album (In fact, there was much more expressiveness, courage and originality on Load). Trying to copy their own style from forty years ago is definitely not what you would expect from Metallica, which so rarely releases new albums.
@@Jeffmacaroni1542 The first time I heard Metallica (and metal in general) It was at my friend's apartment, it was "The Unforgiven" and I liked this song. He gave me the album and I remember returning it later, saying that there were only two good songs, "The Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters", and the rest was just "noise" :). I was listening to eurodance then, was a fan of the techno band Scooter and was starting to get into The Prodigy (which already seemed extreme to me). Later another friend gave me Ride The Lightning album, I was hoping to find good ballads there too. I remember turning it on quietly when I went to bed. And falling asleep, listening to "Fight Fire with Fire" in the dark, I realized that I liked this sound, then there was "Ride the Lightning", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", and with "Fade to Black" I realized that I love this music and the next morning I woke up as a metal fan. :))
It’s not even close to terrible. Obviously it’s not their best song ever but saying is terrible is just ridiculous. There’s a lot to like about this song

That song is just another banger like Lux Æterna, right? Well I think so!
If it weren't from Metallica it would go unnoticed....
I'm a diehard Metallica fan. Absolutely love them....I agree.

Same feeling here. Many songs deal with this topic and it’s good to have THE big playing addressing it, too!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘💟that was awesome jassy this band dose not disappoint
Sounds like an attempt to rewatch their old stuff.

Metallica songs are "pretty basic" to me =) I learnt a lot already, so their preferences are predictive haha
