WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?
A lot of channels do Patreon or RUclips Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. I don’t like this approach.
My way - EVERY one will get to see ALL content. If you aren’t in a position to donate - you still get to see ALL content and your current experience of the channel will NOT change at all. If you do want to support the channel then you get to decide how I prioritise the videos.

WHO AM I?
I am a BABCP accredited cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist living in the south of England. I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma to help them move forward with their lives.
On this RUclips channel I try and make information more accessible by discussing psychological concepts through reacting to popular media.

Ren is a very special young man. And in many ways, he's like a guru or prophet. He seems to have a way to reach people that's not preaching or divisive. He isn't telling people what to think, he's not saying he's right and others are wrong. He's just sharing himself. All the good things all the bad. But that generosity is infections. We're all members of the cult of Ren now 😂. And this cult is just full of kindness and support. ❤
I suggest reacting to "Crutch (ft Bibi)" from Freckled Angles, in my opinion one of Ren's most powerful songs: screaming out his despair and pain - at the same time being the most wonderful love song I've ever listened to.

This was before the immense severity of the misdiagnosed Lyme disease was rampant. I think this positive force still resides within him but it's been shaped into a different form. That, in itself, is interesting. Also note that in my locality, this is the beginning of peak tic season and Lyme awareness is important.

Anything Ren is worth checking out really. But I highly recommend one of my personal favourites: Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and stunning.
Also have you seen that he is currently sharing a detailed story of his health journey, one chapter per day until the release of his new track Troubles on the 9th? I think it would be really interesting to see your reaction to those. After the live, they get saved on his second channel RenMakesStuff 🐰🕳️

Hi Stewart. Thanks for this. It is one of my favourite Ren songs. So uplifting! The way Ren sings the word "alright" does something strange to me. It is as if he has taken being alright to a new level where it is incredibly amazing to simply be alright. I am utterly convinced that Ren is a magician who utilizes the sacred magic of the heart thereby opening our hearts wide. Ren is the antidote for all that is wrong in the world. We should take his words from "Hi Ren" very seriously when he stood up and declared war against evil, when he cried out in that empty room challenging the forces of evil. Ren has utterly transformed my life, so much so that I have even come to love his Peaky Blinders' haircut.
Yes you are right. Lyrics wise there wasn’t much to unpick but the overall feeling of the song says so much. I’m getting into a bit of a Ren zone again I think.

Always enjoy your reactions! If you ever have copyright issues with a Ren video, just dispute it with YT and Ren will release the copyright. He loves reactors, and he'd definitely enjoy you.
Yeah the issue with this one is it was pre ‘Ren’ so another copyright holder actually held the copyright to the first 20 seconds or so of the audio (the guitar part if you listen to the original) and Ren holds the rest. Hopefully he’ll approve it as it’s still in the dispute stage currently.

I love this song and video. Unfortunately, the cynic in me feels that people, when in front of a camera, will always put their best foot forward. I don't often see people doing what these people are saying. Perhaps i should move to Brighton. Wonderful reaction as always.
I will say one thing about this album: It will break your heart in the loveliest ways.
Especially the titular Freckled Angels.
As a long time mental health patient, I don't see Ren as having a mental illness. He was simply misdiagnosed because doctors though his symptoms were in his head, delusions. Above all, Ren is a multi-talented, and ambitious, artist who is just seriously achieving his goals. I don't buy into the 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' stereotype. There are many dedicated, compassionate people. I know, they helped me manage my disorder and become a productive, creative person. I thank them...
It feels like when i was 12-13 years old in the end of the sixties and the beginning of the seventiens,when i called myself a hippie so love,peace and understanding ❤️☮️

The songs Ren did with Trick the Fox and The Big Push don't have the sad and occasionally bitter lyrics that came in some later songs, after years of misdiagnosis and chronic pain. But a good bit of Ren's stuff, even when referencing his sickness and other negative things in his life, still have an upbeat and/or positive feel to them. The songs on the Sick Boi album, (which I love) don't represent the wide variety of music he has done over 10+ years. You really need to look into his past work, and the music he released since the Sick Boi album, to fully see what Ren is capable of. He's got a fantastic and varied catalog of music out there. :)

One of my favorite videos on the internet! Up there with Ren's 1 Million Subscriber speech, I tend to watch this one when I feel down... especially if it's the news that's got me flustered lol. Reminds me the world is still capable of greatness.

I can't and won't understand people screaming hateful things, waving foreign flags, blocking traffic, and virtue signaling that they are better than you. Try talking to them in a nice way and they are more hateful, so I hope your message reaches them. By the way, this was an ok day for Ren, but his legs are hurting and he is skin and bones.

You shouldn't have copyright issues with Ren's music.
There is when the track is jointly owned with another copyright holder like this one. Without muting that initial part the video was blocked globally as someone else held the rights to that bit.
