The blue water valve shown in the video didn't work. Here's a link to the original orange one that is a direct replacement. New: amzn.to/3Hs32Hg ebay.us/Bc2rr4 Used: ebay.us/2me8w5
Thanks for the link to the part and the instructions. That part did the trick and my dishwasher is working again. Wife wanted a new dishwasher. So she's happy, yet disappointed.
we have the same dishwasher model...thanks for making this video, we'll need to sleuth around...never going to buy another Samsung dishwasher, had a cheap Bosch that worked like a charm for 15 years, decided to update the look...regret. But your tips and these comments will go a long way to help uncover the issue.
Thank you so much for making this video! I replaced the same valve with the one you recommended and now we have a dishwasher again! You saved me a huge repair bill. Thank you!!
Thank you very much for this very useful video. My dishwasher is Samsung model DW80N3030US/AA. I have the exact same problem with the right side screw leaking. I fixed that and ran the machine for 20 minutes. Then, I saw the droplet of water on the left side close to the back like you showed me. I believe it is the leak from that water inlet valve. I am about to replace that part. Hopefully, there will be no more problem after this. Mind if I ask how is everything so far after replacement? Any leak?
Worked great without any leaks or errors until my pump started leaking. Yup had to replace that because the o ring that was leaking was specially made and forced me to get a whole new pump. Should have maybe done a video on that also. Took a long time to diagnose that leak. Still using this piece of crap dishwasher though excited for the next RUclips I can make fixing it.
@@g3mccotter I replaced that water inlet valve almost 2 months ago. It seems to work okay now. Hopefully, the pump is not my next replacement. Could you tell me what the sign to know if the pump goes bad? I follow your channel.
Beware of the HOME DEPOT "Installation". The guys that installed ours didn't remove the old half-clogged drain hose. They just spliced the new drain hose into it. I had to remove 8 feet of unnecessary drain hose and install a new air gap. We haven't had an error code since.
I have the same dishwasher, also 2 years old, with the same leak error code. The normal light fast flashing. I found the issue to be the drain pump leaking into the catch pan and setting off the float valve.
This is also what I think is happening to ours. I found moisture around the drain hose attachment and replaced that hose clamp. Did you replace the rubber o-ring on your drain pump? And did that fix it?
Sounds like you just don't buy samsung. My samsung dishwasher is 3 years old and the racks are already deteriorating leaving rusted sharp metal in basin. Now my leak sensor is going off.
Yeah. Seems most new appliances suck in general. Really need you research and find good reviews to probably find something decent. Our Samsung fridge plastic drawers keep breaking and Samsung microwave would electrocute us haha
Had a kitchen aid after 3 years the spray motor went out would fill then empty. Had a GE that wrecked my hardwood floor and soaked into sheetrock in the basement after 5 years. Won't buy either brand ever again. Keep in mind these are 1000 dollar machines not cheap. Just purchased a Samsung had it in for a week, hope I'm not dealing with this. Mine has the stainless tub interior, exterior. I've installed every one myself, and looking at each 1 I'd say the Samsung looks better quality. Time will tell.
What I found out is : the draining hose is bent or trapped behind the dishwasher which makes draining the water not efficient resulting in water accumulating at the bottom! which in turn triggers the sensor! For now I dragged the dishwasher out to relieve the hose! it's working like magic now! this was the reason for the flashing ( normal) cycle option. so it works for few times but then as water is not fully drained it triggers the ( wet / moist) sensor. now just to figure out how to keep the hose bent free!

Glad to hear. Yeah, getting very difficult to find well made new appliances.

Awesome to hear!
I’m glad you mentioned the side leaking from that bolt. I just checked mine, and that exact same bolt was rusted and dripping. Poor quality control
Poorly designed it seems. Pretty sure these weren't leaking from the factory but didn't last long

You beauty, saved me a bigger headache. Thank you for this video, time to replace my valve.
Good to hear
Thank you!!! I was able to quickly figure out my inlet valve is leaking too 😅 never buying another Samsung!
Most new appliances are built the same unfortunately

Crazy
Thank you so much jus pulled mine out and saw this was the issue! 🤞🏽 It fixes overall problem
Good to hear

Oh interesting. Ours worked with new valve

I just bought a new home, the dang thing don't even work, and they don't want to honor warranty, horrible customer service

Yeah it might be same crap. Keep an eye on leaking. Pull it out every now and then and make sure it's dry and you'll be alright

Interesting. Ours is good now that we changed that piece. I don't think it's supposed to leak from there ever even if it's backed up from a bent hose
@@g3mccotter the one I have didn't leak. there was water stil not completely drained!
