Gunna just plead out to his own charge. Nothing he did affects Thug's case since the statements he agreed to at his plea hearing are not admissible in court and his plea deal does not require him to provide specific testimony for the prosecution. All Gunna's plea says is that since he is no longer a co-defendant, *if* called by either the defense or the prosecution he would legally have to show up to court just like anyone else would, but he retains his right to plead the fifth on virtually all questions (for this reason, it's been acknowledged several times that the prosecution will not attempt to use him as a witness). Compare that to Tick's plea, which says something like: "as a condition of your release you *will* be called by the prosecution to testify, and once in court you must verify these statements you made about YSL being a gang, you being a co-founder, etc. etc." Out of context the vid of Gunna def looks bad but people have to differentiate between agreeing to something in the context of your own case and actually *taking the stand* at the trial of another person.
Gunna did not rat on Thug. When they asked whose stuff was in that car neither of them took that charge cause a third person was with them who took it instead. So how did he rat on Thug & turn his back on him ???? He didn’t so stfu 👌🏾
