Working with hydraulics, I see lots of o-ring face seal hydraulic fittings. (Fittings that use an o-ring on the sealing face of the fitting to seal relatively high pressure hydraulics.) Most of the time, you can get away with not replacing the o-ring in the fitting if it still appears round, but it is recommended to replace the o-ring every time. I've seen a lot of o-rings that were no longer round in cross section, such as the old o-ring in your video, those should always be replaced. And, as you pointed out, always test for leaks after the repair. If I know that there is an o-ring involved in something that I need to disassemble, I automatically order it, assuming it is not something that normally is kept in stock. I get upset with myself when I have to delay the completion of a repair because I don't have an o-ring that needs replacement! Good video Shane, thanks for posting it.

Excellent work. Sometimes it can be the simplest of parts, a 50 cent oring.

Good video Shane, thanks for posting it.
What a great review. 'Looks good' but I like that straight edge review. Air is small.
