It's been already a half of my life (I was 14 when I started :) that I've been listening to AV. I've since discovered so many new genres, artists and songs but none of them thrills me as much as do the songs of Alphaville. And sure I've heard many other great artists but it's just something about this band's music... it's like the first time you fall in love... any new thing - no matter how good - just has a different feel to it. I really hope to see them play once again in my country, so I could see them live for the third time. Them and WASP ;) Totally different, but both with great, inspiring leaders and so much of an artistic legacy.
Absolutely same here. I'm an avid EDM fan, I love every track with brutal bass and synthesizer. But Alphaville have the very special place in my heart. They are kinda magical band.
