Yeah, I don't like damaging clothes that are in good condition. But I love customising and mending my clothes as they start to degrade, it extends their lives and you can get really creative with it
great ideas here, i love incorporating influence from the music i like into my style (punk, grunge, metal) tho it can be hard to mix that into appearing "put together" in a professional setting :/ btw i absolutely adore ur new haircut, looks stunning!!
I totally hear you! I think corporate wear, fun tees, and accessories can be a good place to start to sprinkle it in there. Totally sucks we often have to sacrifice parts of ourselves just to appear respectable / employable to certain people lol, but I do see a shift in that as time goes on. The only thing I don’t like is cutting up my clothes. Did it to jeans as a teen and it lead to them eventually sort of just falling apart.
