- Piers Morgan Uncensored begins his show by announcing that he will be the first to announce the two people named in the Dutch version of Omid Scobie's book who were thought to have had a conversation about baby Archie's skin.
After naming the pair, Piers is then joined by Dutch royal journalist Rick Evers, royal biographer Tom Bower and royal editor of the Sunday Times Roya Nikkhah to further debate these claims and discuss Omid Scobie's book. They also discuss in more detail Meghan Markle's original claims of racism against the Royal Family and her previously admitting to being a source for one of Scobie's previous books.

As an African American I am reminded of the latest Chris Rock Netflix special when he mentioned how the color of a baby’s skin is a normal conversation in our community. If we don’t know the context of the conversation, we cannot know if this statement was intended racism or normal curiosity. In any case, if we can’t have the conversation, we cannot have a solution. Even if they asked the question in fear of the eventual skin color, this would have been a chance to educate. No matter, if Meghan wasn’t in the room and this was a family conversation, it wasn’t her story to tell. Family conversation should be private.

As you say,..an they explained,..These were private family conversations that took place, with comments asked to Harry whilst not in the presence of his wife,..they were asked on more than once on this occasion, and therefore only he and she knows the context of the questioning, as it is their belief and he and her story to tell if they so wish…Period..!

Darker or lighter skin is always a subject of conversation in Indian diaspora families.
Even the mother and father talk about it openly with humor obviously.

Same conversation on skin color is customary within Hispanic families, as almost all of us are mixed-race. It's common for siblings to be different colors, even.

Does anyone else think that the baby’s eye, hair and skin color is a perfectly normal conversation? I do! Families speculate about a new baby all the time. He or she? Blonde like dad or brunette like mom? Blue eyes or brown? Dad’s big ears? Mom’s curly hair? Even skin color: Moms very fair skin or skin that tans instantly like Dad’s.
She said ‘concerns and conversations about how dark…’ which implies they were concerned about how dark they’d be. Not fun speculation. They were literally worried about it.
My granddaughter is white, black, Mexican (Hispanic), Native American is married to a white/Spanish. We had a pool $5 a square if there was a correct pick the winner got the $$ if no one picked the correct square the baby got it. Does that make the family racist?

We don’t know that they were concerned at all. Then Harry gobsmacked everyone by denying in an interview that the conversation had even happened! The story makes press for Meghan which is all she wants.

Well, she said they had "questions and concerns", depending on which definition they were using, the word "concerns" could have just been synonymous "with "regards to" or "pertaining to". it could have easily been worded they had "questions with regards to his skin colour" which would been exactly the same thing as "question and concerns about his skin colour" but a different meaning than saying they were "worried" about it. Harry said it wasn't racist, he also said Meghan didn't say it was racist, so maybe it was just in the context I mentioned, in which case (as they both stated) it would not be racist at all, rather just questions most families have regarding the features of any unborn child.
Again, they love to play semantics, so we need to pay attention when they use words which have more than one meaning.

I am from Italian descent, my husband from Spanish, but to be fair, we look nothing like it. We talked about the looks of our baby before she was born. Would that make us racist? My niece is married to an Algerian, we discussed the looks of her baby and wonder how she would look like. Does that make us racists? LOL LOL We were just very curious how the children would look like. Meghan is delusional.

Well piers I for one didn’t, for all that is worth. I am an Egyptian citizen. I stood 100% behind you from the very first day , I was livid for your sake. I though what happened was outrageous and those three ( Megan, Harry and Oprah were downright despicable to do what they did while the queen was at her lowest moments of her life with prince philip fighting for his life in the hospital. It was just UNSPEAKABLE. Allow me to add that as an Egyptian I am not particularly fond of British royalty or care about them, but there is such a thing as universal code of honorable conduct, when breached by any human hurts our feelings and sense of justice and propriety.
I think King Charles III now needs to remove Harry and Meghan's titles or have the government or whoever has the power to remove their titles. They need to have consequences for their lies.
As a mother to 3 mixed race children, my MIL and I discussed the colour that each of the children would be, what hair colour and type, what eye colour as my MIL herself was mixed race. It's normal, there's nothing bad about it.
Depends on the context. If you have mixed race children, don't die on the hill to defend those who wouldn't hesitate to look down on your children for their race because history shows these people are blood and soil types.

Being curious about a baby's skin colour from a biracial woman and a ginger is NOT racist! The reason I know this - is I'm biracial also married to a ginger. In fact, it was my family that chatted about baby's skin colour not my husband's white family. Again it's just curiosity.

It depends on the context of what was said. I come from a family where we do question the baby's skin tone, and yes that's normal, but what we don't do is mock the baby's potential appearances, and lady C at one point said it was a joke on a black baby with ginger hair.

Having previously dated a black lass, I can tell you that asking or talking about a mixed race couple's sprog output is not racism. I have heard comments from her black relations asking about possible skin colour and I was not offended, because there was nothing to be offended about. It is natural curiosity akin to asking two redheads whether they would produce red-haired children. But f***wits like this clown 'Professor' Andrews and others involved in whipping that subject into something it is not, would be out of a job if they DIDN'T find something objectionable that they could throw out to their deluded followers. And so the wheel of time turns again. These people have only one challenge in life - finish off the white race and make sure that their history is overwritten and trampled into the dirt. So tired of this nonsense.
I agree. I remember when I was expecting my first baby, my family wondered how blonde my baby might be. Because my hair was platinum when I was a youngster. I think it's a fun, natural guessing game , a lot of us play . We also guess as to the baby's personality, size of nose, eye colour etc etc. Genetics are endlessly fascinating.

It different to generally be curious about the skin color, but she said there was concern about the skin color and the possible indications.
Skin tone is an inevitable conversation when you have "mixed-race" babies, it does not mean that it is a racist conversation. My daughter is half white, I'm Mexican, and she has beautiful olive skin. My in-laws, who are very pale, were relieved as her darker skin tone protects her from certain types of skin cancer, which have heavily afflicted their family.
People who have darker skins get skin cancer too so they still need protection. It is what Bob Marley died from. Also there is a difference in having an off the cuff conversation just wandering about the skin tone of a baby from a mixed race couple and being “concerned” about it. It’s not a black and white situation (pun intended 😂).

However, it can be protective against other types of skin cancer, and prevent mutations in your DNA. There are some advantages to having some skin color. Also, skin tone varies among white people as well, as not all white people are equally pale. There are many reasons why the Royal family may have wondered about the baby's skin tone. I prefer not to speculate or assume it was racist as I was not present during that conversation. I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I think what Mr Andrews was trying to address was that the foundation of the monarchy is based on colonialism so it makes it a much bigger racist and prejudiced concept.
