Lucky you! I only get 17-20KMPL in the city, so I have to get my Scrambler refueled every 170-200km, On the highway, the first time my trip meter crossed 270km.
Do a Tank full to Tank full check, do your own calculation. Dont reply on bikes mileage indicator 1. Ensure tyre pressure is correct 2. Chain properly lubed And then do a mileag run.
Yes man, my bike also gives an average of 33-35km per/l, I did confirm it by resetting the average two to three times. On live mileage meter it shows above 38 to 42km/l when I am riding at 80-90. Even if you cruise at 120km/h it still gives 25km/l to 29 km/l average. Btw nice info and same color as well
@@thesaze3542 thanks for sharing. 1 suggestion: Dont rely on Meters average and as per trip meter keep 1kmpl less. Because trip meter has 4% error in my motorcycle
Being a Scrambler 400 onwer going gentle with the throttle 80-110kmph in meat torque band in highways I decently get 32-35kmpl considering speed 400 ka weight it might return 1or2kms extra tbf Also people complaining mileage issue don't know the purpose of ride by wire minimal inputs is enough to keep bike lively unlike cable operated throttles where you have to rotate more to get more
Can you explain the ride by wire and wire throttle difference you mentioned. I have a Speed 400 and another similar catagory bike with wired throttle and the difference can’t be felt in the way you mentioned. It’s surely quicker in power delivery when you open full throttle but if you give a little bit of throttle, there’s no difference for me.
@@andrewcarnegie5342 so in cable throttle your throttle body and accelerator are connected by a cable which makes your butterfly valve have slight variations or sometimes more But in ride by wire there's no cable there'll be throttle position sensor in your accelerator and an actuator in your throttle body there'll be so precise movement of butterfly valve inside throttle body making precise flow of fuel for specific moment
Im getting an average economy of 25-27kmpl (60% city 40% highway) before the 1st service keeping it under 5k rpm. Hoping it to increase upto 30kmpl after the 1st service!!!
City 30 highway 40. I live in Rajasthan. The thing is I service my bike myself at home. Chain lubed at all times usual speed 60 80 in city 110 120 highway. I guess the problem is ecu, oil, filters I do not use any triumph recommendation hence I'm getting better mileage. Now will add fuelx pro when I shift to Shillong
😪 last time i calculated i got 26.8kmpl on my Scrambler this on both highway and city. When only on city i got 21 kmpl. I think i am getting this mileage because of tappet noise from engine, also after last ecu update from march. In Lower gears, rpm got increased too. Is this the case with you?
Yes many bike owners are facing this Tappet Rocker issue. Even i getting this noise from past 1500kms I dont think ECU update greatly affects the Mileage. Yes the feb/march ecu updates have significant issues and as per request they are Updating as well. Tell them they will work on this. Rest for mileage there are many reasons, Cluth & chain adjustment. Tyre pressure and chain lubing/cleaning in timely manner. Also try to record the way you ride and ask someone exp. to tell you if you are riding correctly or not.
Bhai make sure you check everything. Not only 4k rpm is everytime what gives you mileage. You need to check tyre pressure, chain conditions as well. Plus how you ride means gear shifting and clutch usage
usually in city you break a lot and shift more so its given that mileage wont be good so its good to practice things like engine breaking and going high gear low rpm as much as you can

I saw from your previous videos that you changed the engine oil brand. Has that contributed towards better fuel efficiency?

Thank you
On Highway rides getting 34-35 easily. Keeping speeds around 80~100.
