It's so interesting. In a mix, to me, they all sound very similar. Alone I can hear a definite difference. I think it shows the importance of the mix.

Literally what I was curious about these past few days. I would love to see you throw in ToneX into the comparison. You know high gain tones like no one else!

All 3 sound great in a mix
And out the mix i just think the qc needs a twist of the treble knob, it always seems to be a bit darker

It could be some external factors or the way of capture but here: none of both nailed it for me. QC sounded like it had less gain, less oomph (maybe also a lil lesss loud), Kemper had some weird phasy sound going on on some notes and shifted the treble and mids, lost a looot of body. I like the Kemper the least here.

Surprised that the Kemper sounds way closer to the real amp than the QC! You should also compare the Neural Dsp grano with the AmpHub Will Putney version with the real thing.

yeah i feel like the kemper has a slightly clearer mid range ,but only a slight difference really

Real Amp: Natural sound, well-defined distortion, forceful attack, excellent dynamics, explosive and brilliant palm mute. Exquisite harmonics. When you alternate the low strings with the high strings almost at the end of the riffs, neither the sound nor the chord is dismantled and it is impressive. Quad Cortex: Sound without clarity, distortion without definition tends to disarm the notes and generates ground noise, Changes the frequency slightly, There is no strength or forcefulness, poor dynamics, palm mute with a lot of interference and plastic sound. Weak and annoying harmonics. When you alternate the final notes high with bass the sound is disarmed, it has no explosion and poor attack. Kemper: Sound with ground noise interference, poorly defined. Regular attack, acceptable dynamics, palm mute without definition, saturated and with a lot of ground noise interference. Weak harmonics. When you alternate the final notes high with bass the sound is dismantled, there is a lot of interference, extreme saturation and ground noise is heard throughout the riffs, over saturated attack. Digital is still far from being able to understand and interpret the entire range of frequencies generated by a real analog electronic circuit. For commercial reasons, all digital pedal manufacturers will say that they have real sound. But if you pay close attention to the sound details you will be able to identify the sound differences.

@@dravennoire You act like you are the reason the capture sounds the way it is does 😂
Don’t wanna burst your bubble but you can thank Omega and Neural DSP and Kemper for creating the products that they did. They are the ones that are doing the heavy lifting but keep telling yourself how important you are to the process.
