David is that that guy, I would like him to stick and move but he likes to fight on the inside. He catches and shoots really well.
He’s got power and he knows it. That’s why he likes to bang but he’s definitely no slouch. He sets his shots and picks his shots nicely. He also has a chin and speed to go along with that
Against Canelo that would be his downfall. Fighting on the inside with Canelo would be the worst thing you can do.

@@spoj3922agreed! But he’s gonna have to fight on the inside at times! At this point and considering Canelo’s age, I believe he can actually outwork Canelo! It is clear as day that Canelo is not the same fighter and is more hittable than ever and I believe Benavidez’s gas tank is too high! He’s gonna have to use his jab for sure and fight on the outside as well but he’s gonna have to show the judges that he’s the boss, because if you can’t convincingly manipulate the judges with ring generalship then you don’t stand a chance against Saul!

I find it interesting that many love to criticize Canelo for avoiding David yet it’s not often discussed how Benavidez is avoiding an entire division. The man clearly struggles to make 168lbs so why not move up to light heavyweight? What’s the issue? Benavidez vs Bivol or Beterbiev would be fantastic.

@@gfrancisco8870 It takes more than rehydrating to get the body back right though. Your body loses more than water when you cut weight. If I was benavidez I would campaign at 175 and try to secure a belt then canelo can't avoid him anymore. Canelo is only going after champions and there are two main guys canelo wants to fight at 175.
