Hiya, I read a looooot of American-based books so I think these houses are ridiculously cute! But I will tell you that New England is an area comprised of 6 states in the Northeast of the US. Maine is one of them but the others are Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island. I read a book years ago called “My Favourite Mistake” by Chelsea Cameron. It was quite cliche and cringey in the best way but it was set in New England and they’d do road trips between the different states throughout. Thanks for the builds!! ❤
Oh I didn’t know it was larger than that!! I usually just think of Stephen King books when New England is mentioned and they’re all in Maine Mistake by association 😂😂 but the more you know!!

Brindleton Bay is based off Cape Cod, a costal area in Massachusetts (think Jaws). These still fit really well in the area, they're super similar to costal houses I've seen across a few states (CT, RI, MA, ME).
As a fellow new Englander. its CT, NH, RI, MA, ME and VT. they are ALL VERY DIVERSE FROM ONE ANOTHER. None of these states match if thats makes sense 😂😂. We are all different from one another
No you’re not. You all have the same accent, you’re all large and rude and you all believe the two lane highways are important or “real roads”. You can drive from cr to up state to Vermont and New Hampshire and not realize you left a state. Stop acting like you’re California.
I brlieve nee england refers to the north easter states of the united states maine Massachusetts new hampsire etc its like here in canada if someone says maritime privinces its where i am nova scotia(new scotland) nee brunswick prince edward island and newfoundland
new england is p much the entire north east of the US so u were kindaa close lol my fiance and i giggled at the "i think thats an area in maine" moment
