Oh my gooodddddd I love it! I've enjoyed this whole series, I get it's not everyone's cup of tea but this sort of dark stuff is a big favourite of mine. Feels like you put extra effort into this one, and it pays off.
Ima make a fan fict abt this [WARNING MENTIONING GORE AND DARK LORE] and and his sister were fighting like in book 9 she picked up a dagger mumbled a spell turtle tried by enchanting a palm tree to block the dagger the dagger started cutting through as his sister laughed insanely and turtle tried to save himself by enchanting a shell to fly and block the dagger but his sister enchanted the dagger one more time and the shell fell to the ground his the dagger flew into turtles skull slicing open his head she walked up to him and grabbed his gold wrist she broke off some horn and put it on her wrist she pushed his corpse into the water.
CALLED IT!!! That’s 2 for 3 correct guesses! The most symbolic way for Turtle to die a tragic death is by getting destroyed by the very mistake he created years ago for hos own benefit. All that time he could’ve come clean to his sister and empathized with her, but he was too much of a coward and afraid for his own safety… until the very moment she goes nuts and it’s too late. And to really top it off, it was Whirlpool’s knife that ultimately killed Turtle.

Turtle cast spells he didn't mean at his sister. He turned away for a second, thinking. He had never fought like this before, then again, before nobody knew he was an animus. But still, aside from the occasional squabble with his brothers, the turtle had never really fought anybody, let alone his sister. As he turned back, all he felt was pain. He screamed, long and high pitched as blood gushed out of his head. He looked towards his sister. She was staring at him and back at her talons as if she hadn't known she could do that. Everything was fading, but he could still hear his sister's loud sobbing and see tears rolling down the sides of her snout. Turtle realised what was happening suddenly. He was *splitting in half.* he took one last look at his sister who was staring him in the eyes, her facefull of sadness and regret. This was it, his vision was going black. He could see and feel blood flowing out of his scales. Was this life really all for nothing. Was there really nothing le- *silence*
Imma take a go at some headconnon for this soooo Turtle had never thought that he would be as scared as he was with dark stalker around and he magic being almost reveled but he was and when he lost the one enchanted thing that gave him comfert his stick , darkstalker knew he was there and he alwanted him dead being a direct decendant of fathom right now is not doing me any justice, he thought As he walked along the beach he got a sinking feeling should he re enchant somthing "no" he said aloud as it would alert darkstallker and as he thought the the light aroud him flashed he looked up a night wing blocking out the sun..... two night wings blocking out the sun "moon?", he called no answer as the dragon swoped down aparently farther up than he thought and much bigger than what he could tell he relized.... he was dark stallker and he started to freak out....how did he find me did moon sell me out?.......enemone? Or did he just know either way it was bad.... As turtle thought about what was about to happen he was slamed to the ground and was being strangled "you know that cloaking spell was smart never would have thought about it my self allthough losing is clummsy "darkstallker said. "Althoigh this death is not deseving you need a more... fitting death" and before turtle could even register it he was levitating and then his visoin went behind him? Almost as his eye were poped out and then he herd a drop and look down with fading vison heals and heaps of blood and the his own brain.
