This could easily be an ASMR video. The sound of the wind, snow hitting your tent, the crunching sounds of snow under your feet, the crackling fire and the water rippling. It was sooo relaxing to watch and listen to. Also the area you chose is just beautiful. New subscriber!

Great video! Only a thin layer tent separating you from total misery outside. Inside you’re comfortable and eating a warm meal. I love it. Plus, you are in nature when nobody ( nobody !) else would dare to venture out. Awesome!
Makes you wonder about how much effort he puts in at recording everything, especially the walking past the camera scene. Puts camera in a spot hits record back tracks then walks infront of camera to get that shot. Rinse and repeat. Couldn't imagine the tedious backtracking to walk infront of camera. He has alot of energy to do so. When he says up his camping area constantly having to put the camera at different angles so he stood what he is doing to change the camera angles, rinse and repeat also. My hats off to this man for him having patient, energy, and strength to do that! Good job! Very hard worker he is. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed day and stay safe out there!

Amazing. Didn't have to say anything. Thank you for the experience and inspiration to get outdoors more. I was just hunting in a tent this October everyone else was in a camper or 5th wheel. They all felt sorry for me and my dad because it was -2 outside windy and snowing. I even had my 10yr old son with me. My dad was happy that I was teaching my son the right way how to survive out there. I told my son anyone can buy or rent a camper. You are experiencing this first hand I was proud of him that week. It was nice peaceful.

I am disabled now, but my wife and I use to go out and do stuff like this. I'll be honest we just would add boiling water to pre-packaged meal, but we did backpack out, rain or snow! Thank you for sharing

Hike in, tent set up, chop firewood under the snowfall, make dinner, rest, make breakfast, enjoy the stunning mountain side by the river with a cup of tea and beat of all, the silence that was slightly broken by the crunchy sound of the snow which made it even better... Winter Camped often in the Montana Beartooth Mountains in the 80's. We would snowshoe / ski in then spend multiple nights as we traveled. Brutally cold...-20° + windchill on one trip. Would come home completely worn out after a few days up there. Great times!
That sounds amazing, I'm from Ireland so we don't get really cold winters like that , if it's really mad you might get -4 or 5 but it's usually above freezing most nights in winter but I'd love to see -20

This is literally the exact same type of camping I enjoy. Snow, incredible views, warm fire, warm food, and quiet. Great camera work!

titanium is expensive, they do make a stove in steal which is cheaper but it warps because of the heat

Выживает почти как я в 84 году на учениях под Псковом в - 32 в окопах без огня. Правда через день учения отменили, но ещё два дня мы технику из снега вытаскивали и грузили в эшелоны, без палаток и костров (спали просто в снегу).

@@catsall930 А зачем жалеть; ни один человек не заболел и сейчас вспоминаю об этом с удовольствием. Мне уже 70 лет и до сих пор гуляю с внучкой на лыжах в любой мороз.

Winter Camped often in the Montana Beartooth Mountains in the 80's. We would snowshoe / ski in then spend multiple nights as we traveled. Brutally cold...-20° + windchill on one trip. Would come home completely worn out after a few days up there.

That sounds amazing, I'm from Ireland so we don't get really cold winters like that , if it's really mad you might get -4 or 5 but it's usually above freezing most nights in winter but I'd love to see -20

Great video, you could maybe pile the snow all the way around the bottom of the tent on the outside to keep the freezing wind from blowing in 👍 regards from bonnie Scotland 👍🏴
Always leave little ventilation for oxygen if you have fire burning inside a tent :)
