I must say one of the reason I like Hou Minghao is his voice, he almost used his own voice for every drama I watched, except for “A girl like me”, but believe me, his voice is so much better than the dubbed one 😂 What impress me is also the way he adapt his voice for the character so well, try listening to Wang Ye and Zhu Yan and Hou Minghao, there’s really something to ❤

Plus, sometimes the actors' voices don’t come through clearly because of how far the microphone is or because of the action happening in the scene. So, they record the voices later in a studio where it’s quieter and easier to control the sound. It makes everything clearer and more polished in the final version.
