Glad to see you run the full 29 Spindrift with a 27.5 rear wheel. On a big bike like that, 445 chainstay feels a lot better than 435, especially with riders 6ft+. Dig the last gen 11 speed on the Hugene. Simple, cheap, and bulletproof unlinke 12 speed. Ekano on the shortlist of next ebike for sure.

Great video, thanks Remy. Never rode a Propain bike, but would like to one day. I’ve been riding for decades, as I’m in my mid fifties now, and really love the bikes nowadays. I’ve had everything from trial bikes to 53.5 lb DH bikes over the years and in the last decade bike geometry and suspension have really improved. Now that I’m old and still love to ride, I’ve been absolutely loving my e-bike. It’s lighter than my old DH bike and is very well balanced and shreds the trails I ride here on Vancouver Island. I know lots of riders who don’t like them, but they are usually the ones who haven’t tried them. Anyways thanks for the vid.

Probably the most in-depth bike check this year realistically you only need one bike The biggest baddest Enduro bike are basically DH bikes nowadays I think in the next 5 years the only things you will see on the trails are E-bikes and Enduro bikes sad but true Enduro bikes are so good nowadays no need to have DH anymore no chance of me getting rid of my glory that’s what dream bikes. do you buy them with your heart Without any compromises “And we all know Remy would pick the Spindrift because It’s an absolute weapon

Is there a clear difference between the tyee and the spindrift when peddling uphill? I have a short travel trail bike, which works for most of the trails in my area (Ontario) I would like something more confident for bike parks and downhill over here and if I were to travel out to BC, etc. ultimately, I’m looking at the propane platform because I hear the propane suspension and that seat tube angle make them great peddlers and I’m hoping to get some thing that if I do travel out west and I end up doing more pedalling that I’ll be able to keep up with others that may be in trail bikes. Everybody talks about how good the Spindrift petals but would I be better off with the tyee? Like I mean if the Spindrift pedals almost as good as the tyee then why I get the tyee? So many decisions! One of the only complaints I've seen about Propain's bikes is the long seat tubes making it hard to fit longer droppers, so I was wondering what your experience was with that. I’ve been interested in purchasing a propain Tyee for some time now. However, not being able to ride mullet right out of the box is making me hesitant. Will propain release a mullet tyee without having to do modifications in the future? I currently have a mullet wheelset and a 170 mm fork.

In germany the tyee (and only the tyee) ist in SALE with 20%. Most of the time, thats a good guess for new models.

@@johannesm7841 I would hope so. The Propain Tyee CF 29” came out in 2020. I think it’s time for an update as well. I hope this time it come in a full 27”, mullet, or full 29” option. Or be able to run mullets with flip chips or after market linkage.

Hi Rémy ! What do you think about the Ekano’s geo in terms of reach ? I’m used to a long reach (450 medium size) and I’m afraid the medium size would be a bit short ? How do you feel it handles compared to your enduro/freeride rigs ? Do you run your special headset to make it longer ? Thanks very much for all the great content mate !! 🤟✌️

Did he really just say, that Canadians brew better beer than Germans? I was so shocked, I almost dropped my breakfast-Weißbier.
