I've never realized that the name of these sushi shapes refers to a battleship! My sister and I always called them "bathtub sushi" since they look like a seaweed-coloured bathtub filled with rice hahaha thank you for the video! good choice on the bamboo mat :)
I also prefer calling them "bathtub" rolls lol I think you and your sister have a good sense of naming things :) We've so far covered gunkan rolls at SUSHIRO and HAMA SUSHI, so maybe next time we go try them at KURA :)
@IchibanYummyJapan Yay!! They look like proper bites, too, at an affordable price! I hope you enjoy them at KURA too if you decide to go! (Me and my sister are both writers, so knowing that we are right in our naming sense makes us both happy 😊)
Great video as always! Watching these vids for my next trip Japan.
Thank you !
Hope you have fun visiting conveyor belt sushi restaurants :)
I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for making these! ps: I think the bamboo place mat was the best option
We're glad to hear you enjoy our videos !
Glad you also think the bamboo place mat was the best choice :)

Wow, it's almost 4 times as much as it costs here in Japan ...
Please come to Japan one day and eat a lot at KURA :)
Will you ever do those self heating meals?
Hello !
