Meera was a beautiful and noble queen of Rajasthan. Dressed in beautiful jewels and expensive fabrics, she was the perfect wife of the king of that region. One day, while in a garden full animals, she heard a beautiful melody played on a flute.
Little did she know then that the music was played by the god Krishna himself, encouraging her to renounce earthly pleasures and dedicate her life to helping her fellow human beings.

Beautiful choreography. The dancers are so graceful and fluid in all their movements - it is wonderful to watch. The message of the song is conveyed through the dance moves very well.
I came upon this video by chance and had to leave a comment. Very proud that Indian dance is being appreciated!!

So far Northern IND has failed to provide opportunity to our classical dancers. We have so many temples across IND, most of times especially in northern India people waste money in organizing quawali , n other sexiest Bollywood dance performances but they failed to forget about our ancient classical dance forms. If we want to keep our culture and traditions alive then we must have to focus on giving opportunities to classical dancers.
