  • If the law of God has not changed, then how could so many people be wrong, and for so long? Is that even possible? Does it even make sense to question established mainstream theology and test it to the Word of God? In this teaching, we answer such questions, and introduce the first video in The Pauline Paradox Series.
    We Recommend First Watching these videos before continuing on through this series:
    Acts 10: Peter's Vision ( • Acts 10: Peter’s Visio... )

    The way I understand it is that everytime anyone in the New Testament says “all scripture”, they’re referring to the Torah because they obviously did not have all the New Testament letters nor did they consider them doctrine. To them, they were simply letters. So “all scripture” is always referring to the Old Testament

    Excellent teaching on Part 1, which is all I’ve seen so far. This is perfect timing since the ladies Bible study I’m involved in is about Paul and Galatians…..Paul is hard to understand, but so far in the studies, I see him (Saul) and such a sinner, as I am, and his teachings goes to show that the LORD loves all of us who come to Him in forgiveness, and believing the truth of Yeshua and following Him out of our adoration for Him. Thank you.

      Of all the books, Galatians is the most easily seen as complete trash. Entire letter is a defense against complaints from actual followers of the way, who he refers to as "mutilators of flesh"... "Whatever they used to be makes no difference to me"... Oh the apostles? Those "so-called pillars of the faith"?...
      But cool, no worries, they made him the right hand of the fellowship no? I mean, who needs witnesses or memories of what really happened in the Acts.

Sincerely, please revisit your teaching on biblical marriage, specifically polygyny, and listen to your own words about accepting correction, only teaching actual scripture and not holding to the traditions of men. I like the way you explain things in this series for our walk does change as YAHUAH opens our eyes to truth,my wife and I find ourselves in churches here because we keep saturday sabbath and fathers feast instead of the pagan holidays. I like how you take the names that most people people know and gently guide your viewer to the understanding of Yeshua's name and Yahuah's name.For It is commanded this shalt not bring the name of your Elohim to naught for YHWH does not leave the one unpunished who brings his name to naught. Interesting enough is this is exactly the kind of error you are showing in your series.The name of father has been replaced by God and Lord from Elohim to Lord and from YHWH to God.

    Genuine Question:
    Why did Paul say that widows that remarry are being drawn away from Christ, having damnation, (1 Tim 5:11, 12) and yet say that widows should remarry if they do not have self control, since it is better to marry than burn with desire? (1 Corinthians 7: 8, 9)

    • @thousandpoundpromise
      @thousandpoundpromise 3 года назад +1

      Two different contexts. The widows in Titus 5 are talking about weather a woman can be trusted to devote herself to the saints in lieu of herself. Younger women, it says, will stop caring for the church when they aren't getting anything from it, and give up service of God for finding a husband. The husband isn't the problem ;the reason these women would look for one is.

    Unfortunately you can't mix water and oil and sell it as new liquid, in the same way you can't take Jewish beliefs and customs and turn it into a new religion. God is divine and sovereign yet deals with groups of people in different ways, for example God dealt differently with those from Adam to Abraham for the first 2000 years, then he dealt with the chosen (the Jew) from Abraham to Paul in a different way. From Paul to the rapture God deals with gentiles differently, which include believing Jews, then we will see God dealing with Jews and Israel again, after the rapture, differently. Why? If we can understand that the whole Bible is for our understanding but not all is for our doctrine, then we will understand the different ways God deals with different timelines. For example, Adam to Abraham we find no law, no religion, then we find the promise to Abraham, the covenant of circumcision which identifies those that God had chosen for His name sake, now we suddenly have two groups of people, the Jew and the unbeliever (aka gentile). Then we see the promise of the messiah come to life with the birth of Jesus, a promise made to the Jew, a promise that had been made in Genesis 3, again we see a different version of God. Then we see God is upset with the Jews and Israel as they never accepted their messiah and so God goes to the gentiles through the apostle Paul, and we see how God deals with gentiles differently. If we have read our bibles we will see that God comes back to deal with Israel again and lives with them for another 1000 years on earth, in the kingdom of God, again God deals with Israel differently. So, let us go back in time, to the garden of Eden and live like Adam, having a relationship with the creator of all things. If you honestly love your creator, the true living God, the God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Issac, you would do everything in your power to honour Him. Remember, Adam had no laws, no religion, no traditions just a relationship. We forget that we are sinners and can never please God, ever, so no matter what you do its like filthy rags to God, because of sin. What does God see when He sees us now? The cleansing blood of The Messiah. God Bless through the grace given to us. Amen

    Jesus doesn't blind people.
    When John the Baptist wanted to know if Jesus was the Messiah he said "tell John what you see and hear- the blind receive their sight."
    Do you think if John's disciples went back and said "he blinds people and then partially restores their eyesight.." John would've believed?
    And yet the church will believe Jesus did something that is the polar opposite of his Nature.
    If you believe Jesus blinded Paul you will believe any and all blasphemy that follows.

      @@kira7035 I hope you will consider Acts 19 where "the Jesus whom Paul preaches" does NOT cast out demons.
      "Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
      17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor."
      Satan does not cast out Satan or his kingdom is divided. Its proof positive "the Jesus whom Paul preaches" is NOT Jesus of Nazareth because demons tremble and flee at his name in a breath.

      Secondly you ask if he is requiring you to follow "Jewish customs"....
      So I ask you to ask the Holy Spirit to discern for you, where the reference to "Jewish customs" that you made came from....
      It was not from the presenter for he never references to follow Jewish customs, nor does he even refer to Jewish customs....
      He does refer to Yeshua who points our man made traditions offered up as commandments.....
      See Matthew 15, 23 and Mark 7
      So what are Jewish customs, are they in the bible....book and chapter and verse
      I say this lovingly....the Word Jewish and the word Israel neither mean the same thing nor spiritually point to the same thing....
      Apply proper hermeneutics. ....
      Find the first mention of each word.
      See how God brings each word into existence
      See how God places and represents each one....

    Okay, I'm just going to tell you folks...
    I was not raised in "church" or the Bible. I came to YeHoVaH as a result of great tribulation. I tried "church", but got tired of the discrepancies of what was being taught and preached as opposed to what I was reading and CLEARLY understanding from the Bible. (Surprisingly it was also a "Baptist" Church) I come from a military background. I can spot when someone is lying to me fairly easily. I also have a low tolerance for stupidity and things that do not make sense (I know, that one doesn't seem to match up with the military, but nonetheless).
    These "pastors" words seemed like a whole lot of convoluted lies and nonsense to me. WHY? I had none of the worthless teachings of men to corrupt me. But, honestly I had a WHOLE lot of ignorance about the Word of GOD. It is Ministries like yours that has brought me to a place of GREAT understanding. I am following along with your videos again after watching them several years ago and I am just really encouraged by your teaching. Everything you have stated so far makes sense and has exposed how many lies we have been told.
    Thanks 119 Ministries and may YeHoVaH Bless you and your Ministry!

      Shalom my beloved....
      I pray this bless you...
      May Yahweh keep you and bless you and yours
      Genesis 1
      1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
      John 1
      1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God.
      Rev 22:12
      12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
      2 Peter 3:8-9
      But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,[a] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
      Genesis 2
      2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. 3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
      Genesis 3:14-15
      14 The Lord God said to the serpent,
      “Because you have done this,
      cursed are you above all livestock
      and above all beasts of the field;
      on your belly you shall go,
      and dust you shall eat
      all the days of your life.
      15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
      and between your offspring[e] and her offspring;
      he shall bruise your head,
      and you shall bruise his heel.”
      For he finds fault with them when he says:[c]
      Hebrews 8:8-12
      “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
      when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
      and with the house of Judah,
      9 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
      on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
      For they did not continue in my covenant,
      and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
      10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
      after those days, declares the Lord:
      I will put my laws into their minds,
      and write them on their hearts,
      and I will be their God,
      and they shall be my people.
      11 And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
      and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
      for they shall all know me,
      from the least of them to the greatest.
      12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
      and I will remember their sins no more.”
      Jeremiah 31 - The New Covenant
      31 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. 33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
      35 Thus says the Lord,
      who gives the sun for light by day
      and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
      who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar-
      the Lord of hosts is his name:
      36 “If this fixed order departs
      from before me, declares the Lord,
      then shall the offspring of Israel cease
      from being a nation before me forever.”
      37 Thus says the Lord:
      “If the heavens above can be measured,
      and the foundations of the earth below can be explored,
      then I will cast off all the offspring of Israel
      for all that they have done,
      declares the Lord.”
      Genesis 17
      And I will establish MY COVENANT between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an EVERLASTING COVENANT, to be God to you and to your offspring after you. 8 And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”
      9 And God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations. 10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You shall be CIRCUMCISED in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you
      Deuteronomy 30:6
      And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
      Isaiah 11:10-13
      10 In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples-of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious.
      11 In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush,[a] from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.
      12 He will raise a signal for the nations
      and will assemble the banished of Israel,
      and gather the dispersed of Judah
      from the four corners of the earth.
      13 The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart,
      and those who harass Judah shall be cut off;
      Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah,
      and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.
      Hosea 6
      “Come, let us return to the Lord;
      for he has torn us, that he may heal us;
      he has struck us down, and he will bind us up.
      2 After two days he will revive us;
      on the third day he will raise us up,
      that we may live before him.
      3 Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord;
      his going out is sure as the dawn;
      he will come to us as the showers,
      as the spring rains that water the earth.”
      4 What shall I do with you, O Ephraim?
      What shall I do with you, O Judah?
      Your love is like a morning cloud,
      like the dew that goes early away.
      5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;
      I have slain them by the words of my mouth,
      and my judgment goes forth as the light.
      6 For I desire steadfast love[a] and not sacrifice,
      the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
      7 But like Adam they transgressed the covenant;
      there they dealt faithlessly with me.
      8 Gilead is a city of evildoers,
      tracked with blood.
      9 As robbers lie in wait for a man,
      so the priests band together;
      they murder on the way to Shechem;
      they commit villainy.
      10 In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing;
      Ephraim's whoredom is there; Israel is defiled.
      11 For you also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed.
      When I restore the fortunes of my people,
      Hosea 11
      1 When Israel was a child, I loved him,
      and out of Egypt I called my son.
      2 The more they were called,
      the more they went away;
      they kept sacrificing to the Baals
      and burning offerings to idols.
      3 Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk;
      I took them up by their arms,
      but they did not know that I healed them.
      4 I led them with cords of kindness,[a]
      with the bands of love,
      and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws,
      and I bent down to them and fed them.
      5 They shall not[b] return to the land of Egypt,
      but Assyria shall be their king,
      because they have refused to return to me.
      6 The sword shall rage against their cities,
      consume the bars of their gates,
      and devour them because of their own counsels.
      7 My people are bent on turning away from me,
      and though they call out to the Most High,
      he shall not raise them up at all.
      8 How can I give you up, O Ephraim?
      How can I hand you over, O Israel?
      How can I make you like Admah?
      How can I treat you like Zeboiim?
      My heart recoils within me;
      my compassion grows warm and tender.
      9 I will not execute my burning anger;
      I will not again destroy Ephraim;
      for I am God and not a man,
      the Holy One in your midst,
      and I will not come in wrath.[c]
      10 They shall go after the Lord;
      he will roar like a lion;
      when he roars,
      his children shall come trembling from the west;
      11 they shall come trembling like birds from Egypt,
      and like doves from the land of Assyria,
      and I will return them to their homes, declares the Lord.
      12 [d] Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,
      and the house of Israel with deceit,
      but Judah still walks with God
      and is faithful to the Holy One.

      Almost any time an "anti-christ" is mentioned in OT it can be connected to Paul. Probably why they took Maccabees out... You know the book that fulfills Daniel? "When UC standing in the holy place to desolating abomination... Let the reader understand "... Leading to Maccabees"in those days there appear transgressors of the law who abandoned the holy covenant... Allied themselves with gentiles, disguised circumcision ... These rulers sent letters across the kingdoms telling them to abandon their particular customs, and all should be one people. They delighted in HIS religion... The abandoned the laws and brought gentiles into the temple...."
      Ok, too much, but these are bare morsels of the sheer magnitude of the scriptures that point to this very unpopular notion.

    Thank you for this initial teaching as in relation to Paul. I look forward to hearing each part.
    However, 119 ministries with reference to our savior being the word as a manifestion of our Father, is contrary to what I find scripture to say.
    De.18:18 tells us that our Father would raise up a Prophet from among the brethren, and His words would be put into that Prophets mouth.
    Note, the Father DID NOT say the Prophet was those words, but that the Prophet would SPEAK those words.
    That Prophet was indeed raised up out of the tribe of Judah in an appointed time, and the Prophet SPOKE those words, as he himself testified in Jo.12:49.

Paul was met by Jesus himself on the road t Damascus and the Holy Spirit himself revealed to Paul all that he wrote down. We therefore have to take Paul's letters as gospel truth. My question is about the "new" (renewed) covenant. Ezekiel 36:27 tells us he will put his Ruach within is and cause us to walk in his satutes. Heb 10:16 Paul is repeating this promise. Yahusha in Mt 26:28 told his disciples, " this is my blood of the renewed covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sin." Then he submitted to the cruel, painful death, shedding his blood. My understanding is that once we accept this perfect sacrifice of Yahusha's blood to pay our death penalty, it is then that the Torah is written in our hearts, as the renewed covenant promises. Once Yahuah's Torah is written in our hearts, we walk as Yahusha walked, i.e., in obedience to all his commandments. This does not mean we will not sin, but it means that we don't have to if we remain in prayer, scripture study, service and self-examination through the power of Yahuah's Ruach.
    Is this a correct understanding?

      Shalom and blessings Mary. I was just scouring the comments and came across your question. In my humbled understanding, Yes you are correct to a point. When we are born from above (Justification), we are given a down payment of the Ruach. During our walk of sanctification we are regularly filled with the Ruach to help us on our walk. However, if you read Ezekiel 36 AND Jeremiah 31 together, in context, you will see that the finality of the Brit Chadasha only comes to fruition at our resurrection when we receive our glorified bodies. It is then when we get our perfect body, including a new heart and mind where all we that are His will know ALL His Torah and none will be teaching each other and at that time ALL Israel will be back in the land and saved. I hope that that makes sense. Every blessing. David (UK)

    Cleary we are free from the low of Moses because Jesus has died and was crucified for our sins. The law of Moses was made for the Jews to keep them pure because they did not have the Holy Spirit. Meaning God in them. Sense we are free from the Law of Moses and we have been crucified with Christ we are no longer slaves to sins we have been set free. Does not mean we can keep on sinning it means we are forgiven if we ask for forgiveness God will give us a new heart and new spirit and clans us from all unrighteousness. There's Verses that Clearfies all of your questions. The Old Law meaning law of Moses was not God's Fifield law according to Jesus. Free from the "Law of Moses". So you believe you are free from the prohibition to having sex with all your family members and even animals? These prohibitions were in the Law of Moses...
      Laws don't make you "Pure". BELIEF is the path to righteousness. It always was.
      the law brings blessings when obeyed.
      The Law brings curses when disobeyed.
      I want you to tell me if this has changed...
      Moses was declared righteous by what? His belief...
      Moses was blessed why? His obedience
      Abraham was declared righteous by what? His belief.
      Abraham was blessed why? His obedience.
      The law does not make you righteous, it tells you what sin is.
      If you do away with the law, then there is no sin
      If you have done away with sin, then you need no grace.
      If you need no grace, then Messiah died on the cross for you for naught.
      You have turned the work of Messiah into naught.
      The verse you quoted at the end. What law were you under?
      The Law of SIN and Death. The wages of sin is death. Messiah took away that penalty, therefore you are no longer under the dominion of SIN, not the Law of GOD.
      Read the WHOLE book of Romans. It supports the Law of GOD when read in its entirety and in context.
      If Paul spoke against the Laws of GOD, he would be a false prophet and would have spoken the EXACT opposite of what Yeshua told us.
      Read and understand Matthew 5:17 through 20: - 17Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. (The Messiah you claim to obey and worship told you HE didn't do what you say He did... He's told you once...ONCE. In fact, Yeshua told us not to even think such a thing. But yet do you?
      Continuing...
      I have not come to abolish them, BUT to fulfill them. (Yeshua told us again that He did not come to ABOLISH them but fulfill them. (This makes TWICE Yeshua said He didn't abolish the Law or the Prophets). You will note the word "BUT" which is an opposing conjunction. That means that the word or phase before the word "BUT" will be in opposition the word or phrase after it. Also, look in the Concordance. If Yeshua "fulfilled" the Laws so we don't have to, then this is annulling the law. The same definition of "abolish". Yeshua told us TWICE, that He didn't do what you said He did... TWICE)
      18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (Yeshua told us that not even the SMALLEST to the GREATEST part of the Law was done away with. This is the THIRD time He tells us this.They won't disappear until heaven and earth has passed away. Have you seen the earth today? Have you seen the heavens? Then the law is STILL valid and has NOT passed away.)
      19So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.… (this was Yeshua's warning to you not to do what you're doing)
      These were the words from the mouth of the Messiah Yeshua. His words don't get much clearer than that. Unfortunately, by your comment, it appears that you don't believe what He said...

      What was nailed to the cross was the debt we owe for breaking the law. Not the law itself. (look at the greek of Col ch2 and it'll open your eyes!)

    The Bible directly pointed to the correct teachers.
    The Bishops
    For a bishop, as God's steward, must be blameless; he must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of goodness, master of himself, upright, holy, and self-controlled; he must hold firm to the sure word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to confute those who contradict it. (Titus 1:7-9, RSV-CE)
    They are to teach correct doctrine and refute incorrect doctrine.
    The Bishops taught by the Apostles that we have record of their teachings are:

      The Law does not use the word "kill" it uses the word "murder". Thou shall not MURDER.
      Strong's Concordance
      ratsach: to murder, slay
      Original Word: רָצַח
      Part of Speech: Verb
      Transliteration: ratsach
      Phonetic Spelling: (raw-tsakh')
      Definition: to murder, slay
      Killing was done all of the time in the Bible and quite a few times, it was ordained by YeHoVaH.
      Sacrifices could not be completed without killing an innocent animal for atonement.

      Moses was considered righteous, WHY???
      But, why was Moses blessed?
      Abraham was considered righteous, WHY???
      But, why was Abraham blessed?
      The Holy Spirit enables Believers to follow YeHoVaH's Laws.
      The Law is not too hard for you... Have you ever heard that before?
      Today, I broke NONE of the Commandments.
      I had No other gods before YeHoVaH
      I made No graven images or likenesses
      I did not take the LORD's name in vain
      On the 7th day I Remembered the Sabbath Day
      My parents have passed, but I still honor my father and my mother
      I have not not murdered anyone
      I have not committed adultery
      I have not stolen from anyone
      I have not bore false witness
      I did not covet my neighbor's goods/wife/mule/car or whatever...
      Tomorrow I might not do so well, but that's what the Blood of Yeshua was for. HOWEVER, I do not trample under foot the Grace of Messiah...
      It's not "bondage" if you want to do YeHoVaH's Laws. For...
      Which Law can you OBEY and it WILL NOT BLESS you?
      Which Law can you DISOBEY and it WILL NOT CURSE you?
      Behold I put before you blessings and curses. Death and Life. Choose Life...
