That thin section you retained for the ground on the pump will negate the thick positive wire you ran. I'd replace that wire and eyelet with a gauge appropriately matched will all the rest.
I'm glad to see what's capable with stock fuel lines. Also the cold-side piping doesn't have to be 3/3.5 inch. 👍 Would you share the paint code? My old Captiva hatch is totally oxidized and needs a new blue badly... 🙏
The turbo is the biggest I could for with the A/C system and 2200cc would have been overkill and drive ability would not be as good with 1650cc you get drive ability and it’s more than enough to make the power we want
Wow! Just curious… i assume the reason Tj and other guys are standing on the car during the dyno is weigh down the car for traction. Now what about real world situation when TJ is on the racetrack of on road? Would he not achieve the HP? Just curious. Another great video for the week.
It will vary, Jerry...the small contact patch on the metal rollers is one environment, the hundreds of different pavement/concrete surfaces you will find in the driving of public roads are many more, you can run the Toyo tyres or whatever you believe in, and get it on, sometimes it sticks, sometimes it won't, that's hot-rodding! The HP number on the dyno is not that important, it's essentially a way to run the car though the RPM range under a load and verify the air/fuel ratio and timing are good without doing wide-open pulls on the street. 👀
Would love to know how cooling and ac work on that thing in the hot swamp heat. Looks like theres a ton of heat wrap but still would be surprised if ac blows ice cold while driving
@@tjlockwood4152 Well, I'm a little behind on this channel, but every Honda guy in the South wants to see those strategies for cooling...we all struggle with it, man. A/C? Shit, we just want to be able to do pulls in summer with turbo Hondas, please share..
@@boostismagic the main thing I found was getting the condenser to get enough air flow and keeping that cooled down cause that is what really keeps the pressures down and what ultimately makes the air blow so cold
@@Bob-ir4lr I did not there is enough space between the parts close to it all I did was wrap all the exhaust components and put a blanket on the turbo the main thing I did was with the condenser how I positioned it and the fan setup to allow airflow and keep it cooled off better for lower pressures
If I may suggest having a good artist paint a small Elmer Fudd about 3 inches in height just below the driver side door mirror because it’s time to get that Wasically Wabbit!!! If you know what I mean!!!
Only critique is the valve cover color…. This in no way is color pallet compatible with any color on the car. It’s also not a traditional Honda color for that key visual part.
Cuz where we live, for a few more years, we have the freedom to modify our transport to deliver thrilling levels of acceleration...in certain situations, one can utilize impressive amounts of torque to maximize the emotional stimulation of simply pressing the gas pedal, and sinking into the aural and physical euphoria we have created by straining in our workshops, improving our projects to almost unbelievable performance levels. Will it lose traction?...Yes. Is it dangerous if you should impact a slower or stationary object? Yes. Is it fun? Fuck yeah God Bless the America that once was. 🦅

nice! when a guy laughs like that after making boost is pure happiness
Nothing like it 👍🏼
Damn, that’s awesome to see this Civic Si hatchback made at 635hp and 450 something torque, motor sounds amazing, great job!!! 😁👍

Time to make it AWD. That'll be dope on this Channel.
How about no when setup is good as is
Awd would be rad, and it would help the power delivery
Just maybe 😄
@@ahcgarage do it! That'll probably bring more content, and you won't have torque steer and traction issues haha.

Next mods should probably be AWD to put all that power down, and a proper seat and harness. That thing rips TJ! Whoa! Strap in to the rocket ship!

I wonder if the cams were degreed prior to the dyno to optimize the engine performance prior to the dyno.
Hey nice work 💯!!
What color code it’s that civic blue, thanks hope your answer & keep doing videos
It's a custom blue color

I am running boost by gear so it limits the power in each gear I have it setup really good for the road no traction issues

560hp on a 1000kg civic ?
