Bonus tip against Iana: If you play Vigil and activate his aibility, the Iana clone wont be able to see you and you can just run past thr clone and kill the real Iana!

For Finka: Smoke does more damage, Gu mines are quicker to do damage, pulse can see boosted players from further away.

@@ianmcdonald202 yeah it’s an interesting as hell. it’s supposed to mimic finka’s enhancement increasing your breathing and heart rate so you inhale more smoke and heart beats are more detectable.

You can also plant and the cameras won't really pick you up

It found that out on the first two weeks of her release for early pass owners and I shot an Alibis hologram while using nokks ability on accident and noticed I didn’t get scanned. Love her fmg and 5.7 I love the 1.5x scope but she should have access to the 2.0x scope too.
Counter solis by dropping the defuser instead of planting to bait out impacts and information on where she is.

for montagne, if you find yourself against an aggressive oryx you can usually just try and bait the dash, and then time a melee, killing oryx

The second you find an Oryx as Monty all ideas of being a shield go out the window.

If you have azami you can use her ability to block the fuze charges sending them back up
Tip against jackal. He can't see your prints from prep phase. If you don't move during the action phase, he can't scan you at all, there are no prints. So you get to a sneaky angle, he turns his shit on thinking it's safe and you are just in the corner holding the angle

Noticed one small issue, you didn't get recruit and I know why.... You can not counter the recruit, recruit is the most operator of all time, undefeatable and unkillable.

One of my favorite rat tactics to do while playing goyo is to follow a kapkan around and put a few of my canisters on his site-anchored EDDs. If they have to push hard later on, not only do they lose their ankles, but they're also forced to walk through flames that will probably kill them outright.
Used to have a duo strat with a friend where you’d put the goyo shields in a door on site and a Kapkan on the door. Worked really well, sucked when they removed the shield aspect of goyo but it made sense
fun thing to do as lesion, place the Gu in the spot that are used more often to plant in dead corner, they would think ou placed them in middle of the room to get them for sure, and then get rammed by the needle while the time is running low, it's a risky move, that could totally waste a mine, but if it get it they will start crying out for the rat move
4:38 4 years of playing this game and I never knew that a Mute jammer disables Blitz's stun gadget.....wow.
I love playing Azami on villa because she can impact trick all hard breachers so easily. Use her deagle to shoot a hole on top of the main breach walls and wait for them to put their charge down and throw an impact when they detonate it. Saved so many rounds

While placing osas shield you have a small gap where you can shoot her arm or hand or move to get a line of sight on her head. Took me a minute to learn that playing and trying to counter her.
My personal favorite counter to any op is to do some rat ass spawn peek as alibi with a prisma on 1 different windows on each side of the building

you can also o a similar thing that also makes no noise and isnt visible outside, to counter thermite, is mute. all electronical devices get distrubed by mutes jammer, wich you can place directly against barricades to make things on the other side malfunction

The best use of Grim is to counter a Jaeger or wamai. Just bee the room then ask ur teammate to flash or not. A pretty useful use of a completely useless operator!

When playing clash, if your shield gets knocked to the side, you can just turn your body to the opposite side of where the shield went so the shield still covers your body. Too often I see clashes not do this. I've led attackers around the map by doing this.

This is great concise info, but as a defender, how do you counter attackers when you don't know what they will be playing, unless they repeat their picks from round to round?

Pulse's hardest counter is Solis. No one plays Pulse since she was released.

Fuze really isn't bad. If you see that the defenders have tons of utility, especially crucial utility, a good Fuze is always nice to have. You do need to be competent at entry and skilled with a gun. Preferably take at least one friendly to clear out the area above, then they can proceed to take floor control while you reek havoc on the defender's setup. A bit of good coordination and you can flood out the enemies to the sights of your teammates. In fact, this is a big reason why people like Grim... well Fuze can do that too.

Tip : if you have no drones or dont want to drone even though you have one then listen for about 5 seconds before going into a door and if you hear anything then pre aim his head off
Another way to get Fuze off guard is waiting for the site window and shoot tru when you heard broken glass noise work every time.
As an Ash main, I can confirm we don’t ever use drones. *Ever.*
Bonus against Alibi: If you're playing Nook you can shoot or walk through Alibi's ability if you have on Nook ability on
Rat strat for mira: put a proximity alarm over the red canister. Twitch drone will hot that first

The problem with thermite is it doesn’t matter if you use kaid or bandit or tube if there is a soft wall or floor next to it you can place it next to it and it will destroy both
Another thing i see alot of players not do properly is place claymores properly the laser reaches really far try to get used to placing it farther away from the open door or window and as close to the wall as possible but also aim it towards the door so the center laser is pointing inwards a bit it makes it nearly impossible to shoot out but also hardwr to hit with c4 or impacts but also the damage stays the same anything in front even if barely touching the laser will die. Also the farther back it is the harder it is to see the laser so enemies wont notice and will run through said doors unaware of the danger that lurks.

Bro for ace you could always just use a pocket kaid. Toss it at the wall wen you hear the charge. It's way easier than a bandit trick and you can do it from range
Playing clash with the shotty is hella funny in console ranked, legit no one can kill you and constantly turn they back to you.
I'm 8 mins in and have learned 2 things, 1 blitz sheild can be muted, and Cavs feet pics don't get shown to jackel if she uses her ability, I've played for years, not competitively but since frost and buck came out, is when I started and I'm learning new things I've never heard about lol
9:37 the strategic way to counter Maverick is Tachanka, not leave him be. Pop Tachanka's bouncing molotov's through the holes and then boom, no more Maverick.
Is that before or after he burns a hole and kills you? Or before you self kill with the bouncers? I only use maverick with a duo of blackbeard. I melt the hole and blackbeard stands in the hole and shoots so your bouncer comes back in and not outside.

honestly they should rework tachankas ability and give him some type of napalm impact nades. Its just a fact efficiency is key in making an operator taking out another gun just to use your gadget is not efficient when theres people that dont need to do that , and i dont think the devs really understand that bc they thought grim was a good idea

tip for ace is to place one higher on the side you want to peek and one lower to crouch through so u aren't stuck in animation and have a crouch hiding spot behind the high one
I have a strat to counter mav on Chalet but you must be in basement at snowmobile garage and if they try to burn through the reinforcement lie down at the drone hole and shoot his legs when he isn’t paying attention

if you use solis when lion does scan you know exactly where they are while scan happens and like a second after scan

another strat for monty is using an akimba on the top of a door so he has to remove the shield and crouch and if you are fast enough you can kill him
Bonus anti fuze tip. Most people dont know this but you can actually shoot the charge when it penetrates. So just wait or sit on a cam and when he fuzes you shoot it out.

It makes NO SENSE that osa's shields can survive a direct hit with an impact while she's holding it but not when she deploys it.
I'm sorry but this guide is just good in theory, most times you're not gonna have the right ops, plus there are plenty other ways to counter ops without relying on choosing a specific operator.
R6 isn't so counter pick related unlike games like lol or overwatch. You can definitely counter any op without the need of a specific op but this guide is more in the case you face a good player with said op. Most ops get countered by just killing them before they can do anything but there are a few cases where bringing a counter is a good idea
