    Good review mate. I have a burgie 650 09 model. I have owned and rode many bikes and scoots in my life. The burgie is something else. Would not swap it for anything else and may get another one once my burgie goes to scooter heaven.

    Cruise control is unfortunately the start button
    (Perhaps a little bit confusing, but the symbol is there)
    Power electric windscreen is there
    (It was one of the options available from that very far forward hidden button on the left & then once you cycle through the options it'll be the up/down button that was on-top

    During the period the Burgman 650 AN Executive was sold in Australia it was in my opinion the benchmark for maxi scooters. I know the Aprilla 850 was bigger and the competition from BMW, Yamaha, Kymco and even Piaggio was to be considered but the Suzuki was better speced. The engine was plenty responsive and more powerful than the Yamah coupled with the CVT with manual and power options it was quick off the mark and could hold its own on the open road with other bikes. The manual option gave a 6th gear for increased fuel economy which was handy for long rides. There was plenty of storage in the dash and under the seat and a top box completed the rig. I know the T Max has more tech now and a bigger engine than earlier models but I expect that had the Burgman still been sold it would have had more tech perhaps even an electric reverse which would have been useful on a 260kg bike. I especially liked the electrically adjustable screen. Here is my review ruclips.net/video/LzDg9MOaLHQ/видео.html One thing I don't like about the T Max not having ridden it is the placement of the mirrors they are a long way from the rider and it looks like adjusting them while riding would be tricky but necessary if you took a pillion.

    The Tmax has the same issue a lot of "hyped" brands like Iphone/apple have. They are overhyped and are a symbol of "status". I've had a Tmax 560 and it was performing really well but I still ended up trading it in for the Forza 750. The Honda Forza is at a lower price for overall more performance. Anyways at the end of the day all the high end scooters perform amazing and it comes down to personal preference but in my opinion the Tmax is no longer the "king" of scooters in this current year.

  • @robertclark9

    I own an 08 Executive. I recently test rode a T-Max, and I must say I was not at all impressed. I found it to be a nice bike, but it’s way overpriced, and wayyyy overrated. I’ll take my Burgman all day long and twice on Sundays. My Burgman is much torquier, much more comfortable, and more user friendly.

    Took me two minutes of watching this to realise you’re so biased towards the Bergman so much so you’d think you’re getting paid to talk down the king (tmax). In the real world the tmax is on another planet compared to the Bergman it wipes the floor with it.

    • @rockyp3917
      @rockyp3917 6 месяцев назад

      No mate, I am not biased. The Tmax is superior when it comes to handling and sporty riding whereas the Brugman is better at being a scooter, plush ride, lots of storage and overall smoothness. They are like flavours of icecream some like Chocolate, some like Vanilla. There is no right answer, it depends on your preference.

      *BMW nur Fliehkraft-Vario und simple Trockenkuppl.
      Die E-Vario des Suzuki hat allerdings den großen Nachteil, dass ein Defekt (Riemenriss) meist einen wirtschaftl. Totalschaden bedeutet.
