    The amount of work you do on your own is so impressive. I came here a year ago for your Kubota work and stayed for all your projects. I see the subscribers are going up. Congrats.

      Thank you very much, SuperJamster1! I have an assortment of other project videos coming (not just the pool house), plus plenty more Kubota videos. Yep, just recently hit 4K subscribers. Woohoo! Thanks for watching!

    Nice work Martin! We don't put PT & untreated wood together with out flashing here. The PT lumber rots the untreated pretty fast in the south. Looking forward to the next video! Have a good weekend my friend!

      Thanks John! That’s interesting! We use PT all the time in Georgia when the sill plate is sitting on concrete. I’ve never seen a problem with rot where the untreated contacts the PT unless it was due to rain water from a roof or window leak. Thanks for watching!

    I learned something new again from your videos. The foam sill plate gasket. I'm going to build a pool shed in the next month or so and I have the slab poured. We had our pool installed a week ago and I'll post that build chronicle soon. Thanks for sharing! Full watch!

      Hi Pilgrim! Yeah, that sill plate seal is water tight! Before I had it dried in, I would have to weep the rain water out the doorway openings after it rained. Looking forward to seeing your pool chronicles soon! Thanks for watching!

    Good day Martin. Boy, you have been keeping busy. And great idea having that big fan blowing in the background. The framing is looking great. It has been so hot here this week - over 93 C. That pool was looking very inviting. LOL. Cheers and good luck with the rest of the build!

      Hi Gord! 93 C?? I hope you meant 93 F or your lake will soon start to boil! LOL! We’ve had rain and cloudy skies the last few days so the pool is slower to warm up this year than usual. Hopefully we’ll be swimming in it next week! Thanks for watching!

    Martin, I really enjoyed this episode. I simply enjoy wood frame-work. The more you do it, the more you learn. Wood frame work is the very skeletal bones of your structure. Nicely done and keep on making the fine vids. Man, it's been raining cats-n-dogs here the entire week. Hope you have nice weather to complete your mission. Later.

      Hi Don! Glad you liked it! I enjoying framing too. Heck, I enjoy building most anything. Not much rain here lately although the forecast says it's coming in the next few days. Thanks for watching!

    💥 Great editing as always! Loved the subliminal message. 😂. That pool area is going to be very nice once complete.
    Keep on tractoring!

      Thanks, Jon! I’ve used that subliminal message clip a few times, but sparingly because I’m sure it would get old for subscribers quickly. I hoping to finish up the pool house this year. Thanks for watching!

    Nice project, I like it! As usual, you don't do things halfway... Those headers must be good for a good load of snow on the roof! Precision and technique is always part of your projects. I think I have the same nailer as you. It's powerful, reliable and heavy... It can barely be handled using one hand! Thanks!

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  4 года назад

      Hi Joe! Thanks for the kind words. Yes, those headers are stout. That’s how we do it in this neck of the woods. My framing nailer is made by Porter Cable. I have fired a bazillion nails with it and it’s still going strong. Thanks for watching!
