I like how Spawn is generally respectful of those who are clearly good guys, while cutting "neutral" characters some slack, and roasting villains. All while being capable of telling a few jokes even if they still sound like deadly threats.
I think it's because he himself is Chaotic Neutral. He may be a soldier of Hell, but he still respects the good guys more than the villains, especially if they're soldiers like Sonja.
I love how well MK11's guest characters is blended into the game. They actually interact with each other in a way that makes sense to their character. They don't feel like anomalies in a game with repeated voicelines, they actually feel like they're part of the MK universe.
@@elijahhill6602 Kevin Michael Richardson has definitely been a great copier of Keith in the way of roles he succeeded him in, such as Tombstone in Spectacular Spider-Man (not saying Kevin actually copies him in general, but there are a few roles where Keith started and Kevin continued).

Him meeting Joker here is actually really symbolic. Todd Mcfarlane the creator of spawn was really influenced by batman and would pitch him as "what if batman killed the joker". They've even had a crossover in the past so this was most likely a little nod towards these characters' history together.
Imagine how well Spawn and Doomslayer would get along. Obsessively murdering demons in horrible ways? Silent? That's everything Spawn would want in a partner.

I was wondering about that, was curious if NRS ever made it explicit that they wouldn't repeat Guest characters. That's real sad, Hellboy was one of my mains later in IJ2's lifecycle. Such a dope character, I'd love to see him again (and Spawn of course)
Well, it's not just guest characters. You may have noticed that neither of the Injustice games have the same DLC, so for example, if you want the Red Hood or Starfire in the next game, it'll have to be on the main roster. The same applies for the MK games under the NRS banner. If you want, say, Nightwolf, Sindel, or Shang Tsung in MK12, again, core roster.

As a Doom fan, seeing comments with word "Revenant" about any characters makes me imagine good old Doom 2 Revenant with clothes of character that is in the comment. Like Revenant with Kung Lao's hat, or Shao Kahn's skull on his own skull.
I just wonder how Kung Lao can teleport, since he's just a normal human with a razor hat and karate experience. Not to mention, in his MK11 story mode chapter, there's at least 2 instances where it would've been useful, and he doesn't think to do it.

I just wonder how Kung Lao can teleport, since he's just a normal human with a razor hat and karate experience. Not to mention, in his MK11 story mode chapter, there's at least 2 instances where it would've been useful, and he doesn't think to do it.

If you had the Xbox port of soul calibur back in the day, you had spawn as a guest character. Whereas if you owned a PS2 you got Heihachi and GameCube, you get link respectively.
