Another gorgeous creation! You hit me with my favorite color on this one. I never would have even thought of doing this. Now I can see my dining room table being filled with this color.
Hey Connie, this color is so glamorous, so I know what you mean. It’s great to add it to your Christmas home decor. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Very creative idea to tint glass this way ! I live in a bad neighborhood and a 100 year old church that feeds the homeless got 9 of their stained glass windows broken by someone with mental illness. Since they cannot afford to replace the windows I’m going to show them this video because they could make some faux stained glass windows which would look better than the plywood they have there now…..THANK YOU !
Oh wow sorry to hear that. This is a good option, but you can also try using transparent colored cellophane over clear plastic in the shapes that will fit the missing stained glass. Try Amazon for the colored cellophane. I appreciate your comment, and thanks for watching. 🙏🏽
@LawrenceMartinez-fb1tt Yes, like Dezi says. I just did some of my windows like that. Amazon has beautiful privacy window film in many beautiful designs.
The good thing is that the person who destroyed the windows did not damage the largest ones……but the bad thing is that the glass used 100 years ago was made with lead to get the colors and that kind of glass is no longer made.
I watched this last week I think. I did this yesterday to a vase. It turned out fabulous. I have the other one to do still. I used the same color you used. Thank you so much for this wonderful idea!
Are these washable after you finish them if they need washed at some time down the road, will the paint come off if you wet them? These are so beautiful! From AKRON, OHIO ❤😊
These look beautiful. I am wondering why you colored the inside instead of the outside of the glass. (I couldn't get my sound to work while I watched so you might have said why.) I see in your info that you should not add water to the containers. If the outside was the colored part and maybe treated with a clear sealer, you could add water to the vase, and maybe wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Do you think that would work?
I color the inside because fingerprints may ruin the finish. Also I figured the inside wouldn't get so dirty where I would have to clean it with soap and water. Honesty... I'm a frequent cleaner, so I know this won't get dirty inside. Thank you so much for watching. Check out my latest video where I show how to use these vases with fresh cut flowers in water. ➡️ruclips.net/video/6jZBlXKR4iE/видео.html Thank you so much for watching.
Hi Iris thanks. I know what you mean. Yes!! it will come off when washed with liquid soap and water. I've done this to my expensive crystal, and a month later I washed it off. It looks good as new, no damage. Thanks for watching.
Hey There, they are beautiful. Very nice, very elegant looking. I do have a question though. Would it be okay to put water in the vase? Wouldn't the water dissolve the glue?
Not really sure if you can seal it. Since it’s made with glue, I feel it may make the glue detach from the vase. I’ve never sealed this technique before, I use faux flowers in my vase without any water or other liquids in it. I hope this helps.
So are these flower vase? so are these flower vase? because once you put water our flowers in the inside bag, glue and water is gonna come apart so I’m just not clear on what you’re doing here.🤷🏽♀️💯‼️
What I’m doing here is tinting glass with food coloring and glue…. That’s what I’m doing…. How you choose to use them is up to you. However, I recommend that you do not add water to the project, it will cause the glue to detach from the vase.
I love your videos and the music you picked is comforting.
Thank you Pamela, so happy you loved the video. I appreciate you watching.

Yes, like Dezi says. I just did some of my windows like that. Amazon has beautiful privacy window film in many beautiful designs.
And suddenly I feel like crying 😢 God will make a way that the church windows can be replaced. We know all things work for good... I'm praying 🙏🏻
The good thing is that the person who destroyed the windows did not damage the largest ones……but the bad thing is that the glass used 100 years ago was made with lead to get the colors and that kind of glass is no longer made.

Hi Sharon, I'm not sure... but it never adheres to the plastic cup I mix it in. Thanks for watching.
That's so pretty tfs

Hello I love your work, I have a lot of bowls like that but don't have an idea what to do with them
Absolutely gorgeous!! Does the color last a long time?
Yes it does! Thank you

Thanks for watching Twanda.
Dezi, these are beautiful. Can the color be washed off? Coz I am thinking of applying this to my real crystal vase, but if it’s permanent I won’t.
Yes, absolutely, the water or any other liquid will cause the color to detach from the glass.
Can they be washed without color coming off!?
No, the glue will become soft and lift off. I recommend using a soft dry cloth to wipe clean. Thanks for watching
Can I use the vase with fresh flowers or can this technique be sealed?
Not really sure if you can seal it. Since it’s made with glue, I feel it may make the glue detach from the vase. I’ve never sealed this technique before, I use faux flowers in my vase without any water or other liquids in it.
I hope this helps.
@@Dezi1016 I suspected as such. Just thought I’d ask. Still plan on doing this after a trip to my Goodwill. Thank you so much for responding so quick.
@@teresawesterlind1677 Anytime Luv, I appreciate you watching.
What about once you put water in them? Are these cured?
Water will make the glue detach from the vase.
Can we us anything else besides the tacky glue for this project
I guess you can... but I only use Tacky Glue, that's what I have on hand.
So are these flower vase? so are these flower vase? because once you put water our flowers in the inside bag, glue and water is gonna come apart so I’m just not clear on what you’re doing here.🤷🏽♀️💯‼️
