The races aren't about who will make it, it's about how much time Sonic has to taunt when he's done.

Here's why I don't like the challenge the characters that have long range have a better chance to make it because of the head start which is unfair to those who don't have projectiles and also I believe meta knight could have made it if he used side b
@@spazerabanekozeroshki agreed. I think he could have used a item (like sticky bomb) to blow the box and only start running right after the blow. So then, Jigglypuff would be able to pass by charging her neutral B before the blow. Even Charizard would make it too, you can clearly see he has a little delay after his fire breath. Anyway, I think a item would make it more fair

@@SonicBlast4444 Yeah I never thought of that completely but you are right, some characters have to have a weakness you know. Like heavy weighted characters are weak in running and light characters are weak in strength.

I feel this one was inconsistent since some has recoveries, side specials, and ran before their projectile hit the bomb.
Yeah, some had delayed ranged attacks that allowed them to almost get halfway down the bridge before the box even exploded

I think it's more because how slow it took his shadow ball to get there, if everyone has the same opportunity to get the same amount of time to run it'd be more fair, like for instance charizard didn't make it despite being faster than yoshi because yoshi has a low lag projectile to start the timer

I feel like this one is a little unfair, since not everyone has projectiles, they started at inconsistent points, and some left before their projectile hit the bomb block.

@@barnabyssjones it’s not about speed. You can’t make a true “who can outrun it?” Video if some characters start with an advantage others don’t have. All I’m saying is that if the starting circumstances were a little more even, I feel like the results would be more accurate.

For Samus, you began to run before the side b hit the bomb. So with Zelda, you could have make the down b and go before it hit, and eventually up b since she runs slowly.

@John Martinez I disagree on Kirby just because the only reason he can do half of these challenges is with Manado arts. I know it's his copy ability that grants it but still. It's basically "if Shulk can do it so can Kirby"

@@CertifiedSoapEater again though it's not necessarily on Kirby's power as that is reliant on Shulk's own ability. If Shulk wasn't available at all, kirby can't do it.

There is a way to optimize the challenge by having the second player be Snake and blow up the bridge, so all participants have equal startup, and few of the characters who didnt make it because of attack delay issues can have another try.

Ever notice that characters with range had an advantage over those with little range causw they got to be closer the the bridge
Just by watching this video I noticed a difference between Peach and Daisy Daisy runs a little faster
Probably a fluke, they have the exact same run speed in the code
Age doesn’t just a slight difference in staring location the only differences are hitboxes daisy is shorter and wider than peach

Before Mario falls, use up-b. And with Ness and Lucas, use PK rocket forward. Maybe the Ice Climbers could use their side b?
Fun fact: Samus can canonically run at Mach 1.06 when equipped with the Speed Booster. That's over 13 times faster than Master Chief's best speed feat.
Also fun fact: kirby is cannonicly either the fastest runner if not tied with sonic. Kirby is able to run fast enough he can avoid being sucked into a black hole.
Palutana was not on the platform for her success. I get she had to be their for the move but then that opens the door for the other projectile characters to use theirs at a further distance

This challenge should be redone IMO. Some characters started later or closer than others and it felt inconsistent. I think a second player should hit the bomb, giving every an equal chance.
