Very cool. I myself am starved for a true sequel to this masterpiece of a game. It's beauty is timeless, but every time I fully 100% the game, I have to put it down. It's always a bittersweet feeling, playing through DKC2.

It has a clear derail on gimmick level design compared to the other two games that a lot of times construct complex levels with the same dev tools. I do love DKC3 by the way, I think it's a fantastic little game, but purists have a point.

You know what would be great if someone did a combined version of donkey kong with 1 2 3 and only you select levels you like from each game rather then the whole thing
Some of those rigging levels are giving me horrible flashbacks to a controller I had whose D-pad had trouble with down inputs. (It had been damaged playing Street Fighter II. SNES controller was definitely not built for QCF motions and just an hour playing that game could ruin your D-pad.) I would've found some of these levels insanely stressful because of that :P

I wish this was a real game I could play. I have all 3 of the snes dk country’s and the dk 64 too. Love DK 🦍 ❤. Plus a multi cart with all 3 of the snes dk’s😊

Dixie's hair twirl is like going from Mega Man to Mega Man X slide boots. Really a game changing addition to the formula.
