It's one of the great dreams of my life to experience black gospel music in America. I don't know why I feel such a huge connection with it. It's so strange because it's so far from what I grew up with. When I hear it it feels like home. I don't know it's weird. Its making me emotional even typing this comment about it. Who knows 🤷🏽♂️

Whether hearing it from someone else, or me singing. My Dad always says "What comes from the heart and soul will also reach the listener's heart and soul, and conversely what comes from a shallow place can't reach the depths of anyone's soul". Those words keep me humble. Like why do this music thing at all, if it makes no difference to people who hear it, right?
