Vladdy wins AL player of the week...again. Are the Blue Jays finally ready to pay this man?

Join us for a few minutes as we discuss the incredible run Vladdy has been on of late and how that will impact his chances of a major deal in the off-season. There aren't a lot of familiar faces around the Toronto Blue Jays after the trade deadline. Vladdy Jr. is one of the few and certainly is the most popular. Management has decided to retool for 2025 and beyond with an eye to compete. Yesterday in a press conference Mark Shapiro stated a desire for stability and the need for elite talent to build perrenially competitive teams. If it wasn't clear before, now it is, pay this man like one of the best in baseball or get out of the way. Let's go Blue Jays!

I think Devers is a good comp for Vladdy he got $313.5M over 10. So safe to assume Vladdy is asking for $300M plus.

Yeah Devers might be a better comparison than Alonso because you don't have to wait for Alonso (Scott Boras client) to sign to know where to start negotiations.
