- Sun City is a luxury resort approx.150 km north-west of Johannesburg in the former homeland of Bophuthatswana. Heart of the resort is The Palace of the Lost City, one of the Leading Hotels of the World.
This impressive hotel is built in the style of a royal palace. Life-sized animal sculptures, hand-painted ceilings and frescoes demonstrate the attention to detail. A dome, 12 meters in diameter, with a mosaic of semi-precious stones, crowns the entrance hall. Architecturally, it is kept in African style. As you can see in the video, a tour offers constantly new and interesting perspectives.
During a stay in the hotel you also have a free use of the surrounding park, pools and the water park Valley of Waves. Golf courses, a concert hall with 7000 seats, casinos, as well as an artificial lake for water skiing and parasailing complete the leisure facilities.
As the Sun City resort was built in the midst of desert, the water is supplied over 100 km by the Hartbeespoort Dam. The nearby Pilanesberg National Park provides a number of wildlife experiences.

Das beeindruckende Hotel ist im Stil eines königlichen Palastes gebaut. Lebensgroße Tierskulpturen, handbemalte Decken und Fresken lassen die Liebe zum Detail erkennen. Eine Kuppel von 12 m Durchmesser, mit einem Mosaik aus Halbedelsteinen, krönt die Eingangshalle. Architektonisch ist es in afrikanischem Stil gehalten. Wie man im Video sehen kann eröffnet ein Rundgang ständig neue interessante Perspektiven.
Zum Angebot gehört die kostenlose Mitbenutzung der umliegenden Parks, Pools und des Wasserparks Valley of Waves. Golfplätze, ein Konzertsaal mit 7000 Plätzen, Casinos, sowie ein künstlicher See für Wasserski und Parasailing ergänzen die Freizeitmöglichkeiten.
Da das Sun City Ressort inmitten der Wüste erbaut wurde, erfolgt die Wasserversorgung über 100 km vom Hartbeespoort Dam aus. Der nahe gelegene Pilanesberg Nationalpark ermöglicht zahlreiche Wildtier-Erlebnisse.

absolutely, actually astonishingly amazing sun city I have been there once for three days it was so nice and the memories still in my mind always love from Ethiopia I really lv south africa!
Beautiful views of the Palace. Love the African music added. It really brings in a sense of adventure. We recently stayed there and did a dinner video on it with the towers. Love the details in this hotel!

Im South African and sadly here in Brazil you only see Europe and U.S.A. adds.I know because im in tourism and currently staying in S.Paulo.This people would get value for their Money in S.Africa .Their Money is 4 times stronger than S.African rand.Media keep them ignorant ,while Europians and Américans streaming more and more to S.Africa
