Had a chance to play with Rod and the guys back in the 80s when I lived in the West of Scotland-- ran into him a few years later in the US where we were visting and he and I did this song for old times sake in a club in Athens, Ohio...what a great band and singer.
great footage behind a great song. Thanks for posting it. i've been a fan of rod's since seeing him at nicky tams in the 70's then lived i the flat where the easy club was created in the 80's
@saltwaterballads Fab images to go behind this great song. Thanks for putting it up. Rod's been a favourite singer of mine since I first saw him at Nicky Tams in the '70s then ended up living in the flat where the Easy Club was created.
I was once on a train at Edinburgh Waverley when Rod got on with his guitar. Recognised him, but wasn't till years later I knew he'd written this song 🙂
Haven't heard this for ages and its even better than ever. Lyrics superb and footage is fantastic. Perfect feature for the Lost Edinburgh facebook page.
Great Video love the music.
