- Hey, what’s up everybody? How about those red legs? They had a rough May, but it appears June is going to be much better. Currently, they are sitting in second place in the National League Central tied with the Chicago Cubs.
In today’s video, I want to share with you all some autographed cards and discuss your top five catchers over the last 40 years. Also, I want to share with you all a football card that defines the middle 80s and I think you will agree.

Awesome video. Great cards.
Thank you⚾️🤙🏻
Great video Shannon. Super cards. The Luis Tiant and the Jim McMahon were my favorites. Great picks for the catchers. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you and thanks for watching my friend. I hope you’ve had a happy Father’s Day.😁⚾️
That Tiant is sweet. Never saw that one.
Love the Kruk auto. Really great auto and card additions Shannon!
Thank you Joe.😁🤙🏻⚾️
Nice cards. My favorite catchers are. Johnny Bench, Mike Piazza, Yogi Berra, Carlton Fisk & Garry Carter.
Thank you my friend. That’s definitely a list I can’t argue with.😁⚾️
Just subbed your channel! It’s nice to find another Reds fan on here. Take care and go Reds!
Thank you Rob! Go Red Legs!!!!
Digging all the cards. The Griffey Sr 87 Topps is fantastic. The Ted Simmons autograph is great. Simmons has to be in the Top 5. I agree. Enjoyed.
Thank you steve
Hi Shannon, loved this video. Nice to see a football card. Yes, McMahon was a good quarterback but an even bigger personality. My favorite era of football was the 80s into the 90s. You had great balance between the run and the pass. I don’t dislike the game today but now it’s throw, throw, throw!
My top 5 catchers in the last 40 years:
1) Pudge
2) Piazza
3) Mauer
4) Posey
5) Posada
Thanks my friend!
I’m with you Terry on football. I don’t dislike today’s game, but it’s not what it once was. I can’t argue your catcher list. All excellent choices!
Nice pickups Shannon! Love the El Tiante! My top 5 catchers since 2003 1-Rodriguez, 2- Posey, 3- Mauer, 4- Piazza, 5- Molina
Thank you Jim. I forget about Mauer! Great list my friend.
Nice pickups. Kruk was a character, fun to watch. Tiant is underrated. Simmons underrated too. Top 5 . Pudge , Piazza , Mauer, Salvy Perez , Posey, Molina very close 6th
I agree, Perez should be in there too! Thanks for watching my friend.
Lots of competition for the top 5 catchers. Mauer, Fisk, Posada are close too.
No doubt Eric. Posada is a good one as well.
Great stuff Shannon. I can honestly say I don’t remember ever seeing an Action Packed card autographed. Very nice. Great McMahon card too. I hear he is not doing well.
My list of catches would start with
Pudge
Piazza
Perez
As a homer I have to say Inge
Hoiles
Not the best catchers but my favorites. Lol
I would have to imagine the AP cards are harder to sign. McMahon’s life in the fast lane, I’m sure, has caught up with him. Perez is a good catcher and honestly, I forgot about him.😁 thanks for watching my friend.
Nice picks Shannon
Thank you buddy😁⚾️🤙🏻
Really cool cards there! 🙂
Thank you SB!⚾️🤙🏻
My man Reggie Jackson! Love the Tiant auto. My Dolphins beat the Bears on national TV to protect being the only undefeated team in NFL history. How about Jorge Posada. Good video Shannon.
Thank you Mike! Posada was another great catcher worthy to be in that top 5!
Man some awesome cards Shannon! Can’t argue your list…although I can’t by principle put yadi on it. But Pudge has to be #1 and piazza has to be up there and Joe Mauer and Buster. Happy Father’s Day my friend 👊🏻⚾️
Ha! Well, I did struggle with Molina. For the same reasons.😬 There are so many good catchers over the last 40 years. Mauer, Posey and Fisk and Carter as well. I hope you’ve had a Happy Father’s Day. Thanks for watching.
No Gary Carter or Fisk?
I was thinking the same thing. If it's the last 25 years, I'd agree with those choices
Carter and Fisk could definitely be in that top 5. One and two even.😁⚾️🤙🏻
Some really sweet auto's there Shannon and glad you had my man Simmons in your top 5! My top 5 would be: Fiske, Carter, Molina, Posey, and Pudge. That McMahon card definitely brings back good memories. "Sweetness" to me was the best running back of all time. I played against Wilbur Marshall back in high school as he is from my hometown and still lives here! He was a beast even in high school! LOL! good stuff Shannon!
Thank you Brian! Great list of catchers btw.😁
Nice McMahon, even if it is da Bears. 🙃
Da Bears! Not a fan today. But I was in 85!😁 Thanks for watching my friend
Shannon What no Gary Carter he retired 31 years ago in 92 Also Carlton FIsk you forgot him
Fisk should be in the to 5 for sure Mark. And I can’t argue Carter either. 😬 I hope you’ve had a great Father’s Day my friend. How about those Bat Cats?!
