1972 VW Beetle Fuel Sending Unit - Epic Fail

So the fuel gauge doesn't work on this 1972 VW Beetle. I thought it was the sending unit, but it turns out not to be so. Even with that, here is how to change out the sending unit.

check fuses box , reverse the sending unit wires . follow the wires . good luck my friend .

Try switching the wires, that's usually the case. If not, get a new stabilizer. It fits on the back of the speedo. Like 20 bucks. Great video!!

If you switch the wires on the sender it will fry the gauge if left for more than about 30 seconds.
