Nishida currently plays for JTEKT Stings, a volleyball club based in Kariya, Aichi, Japan. He made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League (Japan) on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakail. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6 [1] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team.
He is one of the youngest players in the 2018 roster of the Japan men's national volleyball team and FIVB cup Final.[2] He made his first international performance with the Japanese national team in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. In June 2018, he played a pivotal role in securing Japan's first win in 11 years against Italy where he collected 24 points from 21 spikes and 3 aces.[3] In September 2018, in a match against Argentina in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, Nishida became the youngest player ever to score 30 points in a match.[4] In June 2019, Nishida broke serving records in the VNL history after hitting 7 aces in a single game during a match against Bulgaria.
Earvin N'Gapeth (born 12 April 1991) is a French volleyball player, a member of France national volleyball team and Russian club Zenit Kazan. He was 2015 European Champion, a gold medalist of the World League (2015, 2017), French Champion (2010), and Italian Champion (2016).
    National team
On October 7, 2010 he was expelled from the national team on disciplinary grounds during World Championship held in Italy.[5] He came back to national team at European Championship 2011. In 2014 played at World Championship 2014 held in Poland. France lost the match for the bronze medal with Germany and took 4th place.[6] He was one of the key players in the 2015 World League championship campaign. On October 18, 2015 French national team, including N'Gapeth, achieved title of the European Champion 2015 (3-0 with Slovenia in the finale).[7][8] Ngapeth for the second time in a year 2017, selected Most Valuable Player of FIVB World League and winner gold medalist with France.

Can't.Nishida has impressive jumps. But they cost him stamina + his spike height is just 348cm (he can't pull off that jump in every shot. In fact, that's his prime jump) given now he reached his peak physical status.

Everybody fanboys Nishida- I totally understand and do too. But Ngapeth had hard swings from anywhere on the court and an enormous volleyball IQ which will come to Nishida in time. But Nishida is a two trick pony- hard hits and hard serves. Sure he mixes up with tips sometimes, but if you’ve ever watched the full matches, he gets stuffed quite a bit. Ngapeth was always just so resourceful and could get kills from anywhere which is why he is one of the greatest

It isn't considered as a fault in volleyball when you touch te bottom of the net AND when it doesn't have any consequences for the opponents. Both conditions have to be gathered for the net touch not to be considered as a fault. If you touch the white line on the top, it is fault no matter what, and if you touch another part of the net with consequences (you touch an opponent at the same time, or you touch the net when the ball is crossing it making a possible deformation of the net) it is also fault.
      Quite tricky, right? :)

N’Gapeth was member of the French European Youth (Under 19, Under 20) Championship from when he was 16. That team won gold medal 3 years in a row (2007, 2008, 2009), and he was MVP in 2008 and 2009. At 17, in what is arguably the most “dense” region of the world when it comes to volleyball. Nishida is a very good hitter but N’Gapeth’s quality in defense and reception is worth many points in each game.

Nishida is simply a standard right now..he is a real monster at the age of 20. But even at the age of 19 he was already considered the best of the class especially during his first appearance in VNL

Only weebs are fond of nishida, he is good but he s not a legend. Stop watching haikyuu you kids. Ngapeth is a one man army, if his mental go down during a match, the entire team can collapse. If the other players don’t play well, he can carry the team. If ngapeth plays well, his team mates will play even better than usual. You can see it at Tokyo 2021. Japan never won anything…

2010-2011, Ngapeth is 20, vice-champion with Tours and MVP of the french championship. Next season he sign at Cuneo, last season's runner-up, and play with Sokolov and Nikola Grbric. Next season he reach Champion's league final, he is 22. I hope Nishida can have the same career.

Nishida is the best as an opposite and a wing spiker from right . Ngapeth is versatile . He can play in any position and deliver a hard spike .Both are beasts with serves . Especially Nishida , the best in serves. Can't compare these 2

They’re both good in their own style. But I love Nishida’s style, it’s more interesting and intense to watch.
