- A few weeks ago me and Rob provided sound and lighting for a music festival after party. I was also one of the videographers for the music festival. This is day one out of two days. Day two will be released Wednesday if we can get 50 likes on this video! Thank you for watching.

Whats your advice on trying to get booked and getting your name out there to perform at festivals during the summer? been watching you since 75 subs and I would really love to see more DJ content.
+Spaceyy I would say start producing and try and get in contact with club promoters. Once you have a decent following you'll be able to play at clubs and work your way up to festivals. It's definitely not easy though.

what do you recommend for someone that wants to start DJing??
I'm a up and coming DJ from Chicago and I was once at your point of wanting to start DJing. Honestly my story was that I loved EDM and House music so much that I just downloaded a mixing program and just started mixing with my keyboard and mouse. But I was given the opportunity of a life time to perform for my school's dance and everyone loved it so now im being booked for schools left and right. hopefully this helps. you just got to have the patience and the excitement to just keep practicing and learning.
+PedroTheKing Buy a DJ controller and start to practice in your room, then do friends parties and go from there. I have a whole video on this.

+Nehaal Kathuria (Neal) thanks so much! I would say find a budget and design a setup around that. And make sure you have to ability to build upon your setup. By that I mean don't just buy a bunch of random cheap lights. Invest in lights that you can get more of later on to grow your setup.

+NYC_ 391 if you can afford it, I would recommend going straight to truss. It's somethings that basically lasts forever and it's pretty much an industry standard so you won't have to worry about upgrading. Really all you have to worry about it buying more truss lol
+Nehaal Kathuria (Neal) I would recommend going straight to the DDJ-SX. For a couple hundred dollars more you get so many more features. It's worth it.

+Dj Limnios I've never tried it but unless you're just messing around with friends, I wouldn't advise it. Especially if you're working.
