- There was no alarm tones sounding through the est speaker strobes during the fire alarm activation I want to guess that the intercom system is tied up with the est fire alarm system since in this video u will hear a partial live announcement that is not related to what is called "Fire Emergency Evacuation" during the strobe light flashing
Don't most Hospitals in Illinois (At least in the Chicago Area) have Wheelock Speaker Strobes?
I'm from the Chicago Area @mass1208 I've been to Ann & Robert H Luries Children's Hospital or Chicago and they use EST Genesis like in the rooms they have Chime/strobes but in their hallway they have speaker/strobes
It’s just strobing
I have this in my high school bathroom
You can hear the clicking as the strobe flashes is that soppost to happen
supposed*
Yes it is: the clicking is from the strobe tube flashing.
@@TheCarson116a lot of fire alarms do that.
@@bjthedjdutchdude1992 Well yeah, since up until recently xenon strobes were standard.
well it is a voice evac message but the message kinda said code red for hospitals though.
true
@@mixleaves i think edwards has slow whoop and trilingual english messages for these voice evac message like this one but not in Massachusetts because Massachusetts uses code 3 tone only instead which meets 900hz but I couldn't find the 900hz tone for Massachusetts except siemens should do that.
alert
@@josephfrye7342 There's no 900 Hz. The T3 Massachusetts uses is around 1500 - 1600 Hz
@@mixleaveswhy was the strobe flashing but the alarm was not sounding
What happened to the horn
It's a speaker/strobe, it has no horn. As for why it's not outputting a message or tone, I guess the system had been silenced by the time the uploader started videoing it (either that or the system works differently to how most voice systems are set up).
I think I could’ve seen one of those things… well… somewhere in Malaysia , I think…
I think… in Kuala Lumpur or Langkawi…
Or maybe in Dubai in the United Arab States or something…
Idk. But I could’ve seen familiar-looking fire alarms there… I… think… Idk.
Maybe in Malaysia, saw a video of an EST3 panel somewhere there
