This band are amazing. I've been listening to 80's metal for 30 years and while I am a fan of Loudness I had not heard of Anthem. I saw their videos on youtube so bought the 'Nucleus' cd. It's a really good cd and well worth buying. It has a selection of their older songs re-recoded with English lyrics and also comes with a live album filled with their classic songs. I liked it so much I also bought their 2 cd greatest hits from Japan. While it was a little expensive it was worth it.
It blows my mind how bad luck you've got to not heard about them earlier lmao :D (Dont get me wrong im just shocked! :D )Anthem is a one of the biggest Japanese Heavy Metal band along Loudness,Seikima-II,X-Japan (who are more of glam,i dont like them too much,but they are BIG) they (Anthem) are not as popular outside islands ti guess :P. It must've been a huge discovery for you sir! Such a great band! PS: I've been listening to Japanese Metal since my teen years.Have you heard of a band "Wolf" they are great,but forgotten
@@milky1234123 Yeah I've got both Tightrope and Domestic Booty now. Since I saw this video I've bought all their albums that aren't out of print. They've become one of my favourite bands.
@@SammiCurr No Smoke Without Fire is their best album. Then I'd go with Eternal Warrior and Seven Hills. The only "bad" album is Overload, and it's still better than I expected

I was unable to find their post 2000 albums but did get a 2 cd greatest hits that has the best songs from 2000 to 2011 which covers those years. I also got Burning Oath, Absolute World and Engraved. I've since become a huge Anthem fan.
HOLY SHIT ! That was amazing ! So tight ! Does anyone remember Rock Shocks by Loudness ? They also made a greatest hits album with english lyrics. That was my introduction to Loudness. And I'm already sold on Nucleus. I need this album :-D
Where are you guys from? Japan I take it,, but what part of Japan? Love the guitarists Red Charvel. Killer hooks, great writing, vocals and guitar. All of it rocks. Must buy music of all of it is this good.

わからなくもないな。確かにうまいメンバーになり安定するようになった。が、ヒロヤのアグレッシブでワイルドなギターやマッドの重過ぎて少しもたつくくらいの下手さも魅力でもあったかもしれない。聴きやすいのは圧倒的に今だけどね。
