As a former '95 Chieftain owner and remembering the hysteria around these amps back then, they're probably doing fine coasting off the reputation built pre-internet (ie. probably sell as many as they comfortably build).
They have a high price tag, so not many own one. Also, Matchless being a "small" company, they probably don't have the mean to pay all these so-called "influencers" on YT to praise the amp. I got interested in Matchless when Kenny Wayne Shepherd appeared with his first album. I went to see him play, and excepted for how loud the band played, I dug the Matchless amp. But I could not afford one, so I bought a Laney instead. I don't think Kenny uses Matchless anymore, and I don't remember what model he had on stage when I saw him. Maybe an HC or a DC? I have now relocated where Matchless amps are more readily available, but I cannot convince myself to spend that much money on just one Amp.
Does the LC generate any hiss at idle? Or at any other point? (I thought I caught some during the silence before the riffs at the 2:20 mark but I think you were maxing the master and then rolled down your guitar's volume?) I expect some white noise at some point on any tube amp but am in search of the make/model that minimizes hiss the best. Maybe Matchless? Nice demo.
I think this is one of the best sounding amps out there right now
Love the squire lick!
Thank you for doing a demo on this amp. Matchless is so behind the ball on youtube. It's hard to believe they do not have a presence online
Because they are ok amps, I get a great sound on a vox.
maybe no youtube presence, but don't say no presence online when their instagram is very active with loads of followers.

Nice demo! Just got one! looking forward to having a go at it...
Well done.
Geez, what wonderful sounds
So crazy to think, I'd feel comfortable with this quiet amp on stage, no matter how small. We sure set goals different these days
Fantastic sounding amp. Great demo. Thank you!

Nice demo.
billy good opening
What happened to your Matchless HC 15? I love that video!
Great 🔥
How would you say the volume compares to a 5E3 tweed deluxe?
👌
You need to leave that tremolo alone.
Way too much whammy? It confuses the clarity of the amp.
