I came to Jesus through the radio program of Turning Point around 2004 while convalesing after a traumatic Brain injury. Having been raised as Episcopalian, I believed in Jesus but my family didn't talk about the Bible but rather made going to church every Sunday our statement of faith and I am grateful for that. Tuning in to Turning Point radio was the first time I heard conversation about Jesus. So, thank you, Dr. Jeremiah, for educating me. God bless you.

Dr. Jeremiah stated Christians will be raptured before the tribulation. If so, why did he then say that Christians who don't take the mark of the beast during the tribulation won't be able to purchase food and will starve to death. If Christians are raptured who are the Christians that will starve during the tribulation?

@@jommarie8839 There will be people turning and giving there life to Christ during the tribulation. Unfortunately, it will be a much harder time in the world for those who turn to Christ at this point in time. That's why it is best for everyone to repent now and turn to Jesus for the kingdom of heaven is Near!! God bless:)
Eschatology Test
Let’s pretend there was a prediction text in the 1850s Louisiana that read
“for the time is near, rainbows will come, cleansing rain will come and happiness will be swept away. These things must soon take place”
If this were read today we would read current events into the text. The Rainbow is the trademark of the seemingly explosive LGBTQ movement, and this movement, by the media, is sweeping away,like rain,that which is good and happy. Or the rain could be something in the future that by the intervention of God sweeps away the LGBTQ movement.
This is what we do in eschatology today with premillennialism. Unknowing to most, we don’t consider historical events of 1850s Louisiana where there were 37 hurricanes back to back in the spring and summer causing numerous rainbows and sweeping away peoples homes in its aftermath.

This is what we do with Matthew 24 and Revelation. We read today into the past projecting prophecy text into our future while ignoring events of history that did transpire leaving “no stone on top of another” in Jerusalems devastating attack by Rome scattering the Jews for 2000 years. History records Rome surrounded Jerusalem before this destruction.
This is why everyone is always disappointed in world events thinking the rapture is nigh. They do not read eschatology with context/exegesis. Most people will continue anticipating a rapture and will be disappointed every single time begging and questioning God why he waits when in reality such events have already happened.
@@jommarie8839 we are saved from the wrath of God, not the wrath of Satan and the wrath of this world. Take that how you believe you should take, but the first actions that could be considered God's wrath do not come until the 7 bowl/vial judgments. Revelation 16 actually refers to them as the "7 bowls of God's wrath". While I don't believe a rapture happens until the actual 2nd coming of our King, the rapture definitely doesn't occur before the bowl judgments.
The one entity that is completely absent right now from having any impact on society at all, especially when we need it most, it's the American church. Their silence is amazingly deafening. They are taking a stand for Christ on nothing. The AC is right on the verge of coming to power, and most of the American church support him right now. They have no idea who it even is.
I'm not being a troll, and I wish it wasn't that way, but the American church is not ready
for what is about to occur in our world. Mostly because they don't think they will be here, so they won't even know we are in tribulation.

As much as I can't wait for the rapture. However. I'm looking forward even more, to come back with Jesus to live on the earth for 1,000 years. The millennial reign is going to be amazing. I absolutely cannot wait for it.

It's in Matthew and Thessalonians even in Corinthians there is a scripture of Rapture (caught up) I had dreams last December 2021 after the pandemic I'm in the clouds above with Jesus Christ on my Right side I saw His feet its brown in color and we are in white clothing but I didn't see Jesus face.
Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many and UNTO THEM THAT LOOK FOR HIM SHALL HE APPEAR the SECOND TIME without sin unto salvation

The Greek word harpazo (G726) means "to seize, carry off by force, snatch out or away" and is used 14 times in the Bible, and is accurately rendered as "caught away" at 1 Thessalonians 4:17 and NOT "rapture". So many who profess to be Christian, are taken in by "the rapture, waiting to see the Lord Jesus".
In fact, the word "rapture" is NOT in modern Bibles, and only in the Latin Vulgate that was written down in 405 C.E., with the Latin word raptura and from which we get the popular term "rapture", whereby a dictionary says of "rapture": "Late 16th century. Directly or via French from medieval Latin raptura “seizure,” from Latin raptus".(Microsoft Encarta Reference Library 2005)
From the Latin word "rapture" also came the English word "rape", as the Microsoft Encarta Reference Library 2005 says: "14th century. Via Anglo-Norman raper from Latin rapere “to seize.” The Latin word rapere from which rape is derived is also the source of English rapacious, rapine, rapid, rapture, ravage, ravenous, ravine, ravish, surreptitious, and usurp."
The Online Etymology Dictionary says of "rapture": "c. 1600, "act of carrying off" as prey or plunder, from rapt + -ure, or else from French rapture, from Medieval Latin raptura "seizure, rape, kidnapping," from Latin raptus "a carrying off, abduction, snatching away; rape" (see rapt). The earliest attested use in English is with women as objects and in 17c. it sometimes meant rape (v.), which word is a cognate (or derived from the same root or origin) of this one."
So, in its full meaning, the "rapture" or "rapt + -ure", is more than what many believe, even abduction and "snatching away" so as to rape someone, especially a woman. On the other hand, the word resurrection (Greek anastasis, meaning "to stand up again in life") is in the Bible 42 times (Matt 22:23, 28, 30, 31; John 5:29) and is what a sincere Bible reader should want, accuracy, and NOT a deviation from "the truth".
So, should not a sincere Bible reader want what is "the truth" from the Bible, to establish whether what is said is "fact or fiction" ? Should not a person be like the Beroeans, who did not take the apostle Paul's words, but "were more noble-minded than those in Thes·sa·lo·niʹca, for they accepted the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, ("eagerness of mind", Greek prothumia, meaning "zeal, eagerness") carefully ("carefully", Greek anakrino, meaning "investigate, examine, scrutinize") examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so" ?(Acts 17:11)
And should not a sincere Bible reader be doing as the apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians: "And this is what I continue praying, that your love may abound still more and more with accurate knowledge ("accurate knowledge", Greek epignosis, meaning "precise and correct knowledge") and full discernment ("full discernment", Greek aisthesis, meaning "perception, discernment"); that you may MAKE SURE of the more important things, so that you may be FLAWLESS and not stumbling others up to the day of Christ" ?(Phil 1:9, 10)
So, since the word "resurrection" is found 42 times in the Bible and NOT "rapture", this should cause a sincere Bible reader to examine "the resurrection" more closely, whereby neither Jesus nor his apostles taught about "the rapture" (even at 1 Thess 4:17, for Paul is speaking of the resurrection), as at Matthew 22:29-32, Luke 14:14, John 5:28, 29, 11:24, 25.
Unbelievable for sure, as the rapture can only happen when all Biblical Prophesies are fulfilled.
And that will only happen at the end of the tribulation
The church will go through tribulations Psalms 91 tells about how God will protect us through the tribulation
I thought all went to Heaven when they died. I know my grandmother is in the grave still and my Father is in heaven. WHY? When I went to visit my grandmother. Gee.. She was there. I said Daddy and I saw him in heaven. At the door of heaven. He was adorned in White at the door in heaven. I didn't see any further than the door. I was not ready to talk to either though. Just Surprised. My Grandmother wanted to talk to me though. Gee. We thought my mother had a backache. My Grandmother said she had cancer and was only able to live for a year from that time. (I ran on or the cemetery) I wasn't looking for the above to happen. I just thought I was going to visit her. Not talk to her.

Any recording that happens will be DESTROYED the same DAY. Lu 17:26-30 THE SAME DAY Lot went OUT of the city God destroyed THEM ALL. Just like Peter taught in 2Pt 3:10 When the Lord returns as a THIEF.
The doctrine of imminent Rapture is false. Jesus said the gospel would be preached to the whole world and gave the great comission -- which would take a LONG, LONG time. He also listed numerous events that would occur first -- Israel/temple destroyed by Rome (70AD), Israel dispersed, them regathered (that took over 1900 years to fulfill!) as well as numerous END DAY events we were to WATCH FOR. The wheat and tares were to ne separated AT THE END OF THE AGE, which is His 6000 year period and we are not there yet. That, too, destroys imminent rapture. Believers need to prepare for difficult tikes -- tribulation Jesus and Apostles warned about.
Elijah and Enoch. They both went to heaven they did not see death so they are in heaven until they come back as the two witnesses.

Elijah was one of the incarnations of Jesus. Enoch is Archangel Melchizedek. Neither will ever return. Their work is done for the Earth while they work on the Intergalactic Council of Light for the twelve Universes. Blessings

When the Lord arrived at the end of the Age of Pisces exactly as He had proclaimed at the conclusion of Revelations, it was at 8.15p.m. before the twelve Adept Initiates of the Silver Leaf Lodge of the Great White Brotherhood in their Sanctuary at Glastonbury, Somerset, being the heart centre of the Earth.
