    You guys just need to practice this it helps to reduce stress and anxiety. I did this method for 10 minute before going to sleep

    Try this breath pattern to induce sleepinesses:
    3 inhale
    4 exhale
    3 hold
    When one holds breath after exhale, it will relax parasympathetic nerves system further.
    However, 4-7-8, holding breath after inhale, not only it’s too long to hold also it stimulates sympathetic system. This creates inner struggles, therefore it takes longer time to fall into sleep.
    Give 3-4-3 a try. It’s a built-in drowsiness making machine.😊

    Boy - put those instructions in a sound loop and play it - That soothing tone of instruction made me sleepy just now while driving!! 🤣

    According to my Apple Watch my heart rate falls below 40 bpm most nights and I still wake up in the middle of the night. How do I deal with this situation?

      @@NurseSarahJeffries yeah it happens every morning, it's called wakeup anxiety and is more of like a panic attack, this happens just when you wake up from your sleep.

      Just do to your own count. Basic principle is to just do it slow

    Sleep concentrate on your breath bring back your mind while wandering bring it back to breathing and concentrate on breath and fall a sleep quickly

    When I try to do this breathing to fall back asleep at night. The counting engages my brain and I awaken even more.

      try to to focus on it too much with the rythym. just do your own count if thats easier

      Practice, without allowing yourself to worry about how well you’re doing . You will get better, and in the meantime, it will already be better than normal breathing.

      Same here but just change the speed of your counting. It doesn’t matter what speed you’re counting. Just keep the same rhythm.
