    You are a great teacher. And I like that you slow the lesson down and explain all the nuances and short cuts to get us beginners going . Singing through the chord traditions is very very helpful for timing and shaping up the song . Also your choice of songs are great and meaningful. Thank you so much.❤

    I can't tell you how many times I have been driving in my car practicing strumming lol. GREAT LESSON! I had to learn all those pivot points on my own. Once I did it was a total game changer! THANK YOU!!

      Have you kept at it? I'm about a month in and struggling with chord transitions.

    I don’t know what took me so long but I just found you. I really like how you build from the easiest way and add more complex strumming and embellishments. I would love to have you do Petty’s “Won’t back down”.

    Wow! What a spectacular video! Those pivot points really helped me out! Everytime I play I lift all my fingers and can never make it all one piece. Now it’s not as choppy!

    Thank you so much for this video I was able to understand everything! I’ve been practicing I can now change chords but when I play the C chords it just sounds horrendous, I don’t know if it’ll get better as I practice or I have to correct something

      Just keep practicing, you'll be able to transition between chords really smoothly before you know it. Just enjoy the music you make and play around with the chords.

    Are the strumming patterns for this version the same as the ones for Frank J. Wilson's?

  • @jamesmarshall3089
    @jamesmarshall3089 11 месяцев назад

    Mr Pot's
    On the two, G chords are muted, and the Strumming remains the same

  • @sledgeweb
    @sledgeweb 3 года назад

    Every tutorial I see for this song does the same strum pattern, but when I listen to the track I don't just hear that same single strum pattern throughout. There are a lot of little scale riffs thrown in and some strum variations - which it would be helpful for more intermediate beginners to have someone go over how you start to throw those things in so it doesn't sound so repetitive.

    It's the Cavaliers. Ripped off by shitty Pearl Jam. You should have mentioned the actual artist.

      Uhhh.... the Cavaliers "ripped off" Wayne Cochran.
