@@georgecharleston2597 Sorry to be months late in replying but I need to say this. People were not bored of hair metal. They were successfully brainwashed by the propaganda piece known as "The Decline of Western Civilization: The Metal Years" - which then kick-started the backlash against hair metal and the rise of grunge, which then record labels exploited. In other words, the decline hair metal was completely artificial and man-made.
@Generation Clash I can tell you have strong feelings towards grunge killing hair metal, as do I . I hate nirvana and bands like them . But I also feel like hair metal had run its course and ended up almost killing itself with the dangerous lifestyle it brought with it, people started to realise that partying, drinking and doing drugs day and night wasn't doing them any favours and so when boring music came along that had no party, it was a "nice" change . I still believe grunge is mostly to blame for the death of the best era for music however

This song was covered about twelve years later in Québec by....someone. I wish it was made clear back then. I don't have any problem with covers, remakes, sampling, anything like that. To find out decades later that what I heard was a cover. It's disappointing, to say the least.

Aldridge sure gets his exposure in this one. Superb musicianship performing mediocre song writing. It happened all the time back the day.
