I have a new 2024 gasoline x-line, limited model in Jungle Green. Like it very much but disappointed in a couple of areas, considering how much I had to pay for such a vehicle. No folding wing mirrors, no Smart Parking feature and no wireless CarPlay. All, I think, reasonably simple things to factory install.
Rory-Not Gail: What's surprising is: Consumer Reports scores it low - a 74; advises that it only has a Predicted Reliability score of 60 out of 100, and it fails to make the CR "Recommended" list of compact SUVs. I was going to buy one but...?
That vehicle will look amazing for a few weeks. After yhe girst wash, and driving it. The vehicle will have so many swirl marks and faint white scrstched. Bla k looks good while in a showroom. Once out black is yhe worst to keep looking clean. Shiws dust so so bad. Never again own a black vehicle.
JD Power shows the Sportage quality and reliability much higher than the Tiguan. So what is the proof of your statement that Tiguan is much better made?
It's stunning. I think the designers at Kia have pulled a masterstroke. No wonder they can't build them fast enough.

I have had my GT Line S AWD HEV for 2 weeks (1.6 petrol). It's really good, great tech, a big uplift from my 2019 model which I loved.

The 2023, 24 VW Tiguan SE R line Black addition looks much better. It is also a better made vehicle.
