    I've been practicing pretty diligently for the past 2 months.....learned to ride backwards, and can change direction forward/backward/forward.....gonna try doing a 180 hop off some bleachers near my house in the coming months. Thanks for the content, it's been helpful! Wish I had started riding 20 years ago!

    started unicycling a year ago. first lockdown, empty parking lot. i can mount, drive and make turns. i still dont know if my saddle is in the right position. its slightly above hip/below navle.
    i got knee pain when its too low but it feels like too high to do any tricks and jumping down somewhere might bust my nuts :S
    this week ill have 2 sessions of learning a few beginner tricks like mounts etc. thank u for putting these out. already helped me alot.
    it feels so great once u finally unlock a movement.
    gosh why did i start unicycling when i turned 30 and not way sooner...

      Haha I feel ya, I was lucky to start when I was around 13, turning 30 in a months time!
      Higher seat will help with your knees for sure. The 'correct' height is pretty subjective, but absolutely you wouldn't want it to cause any issues with your knees. Personally, my seat preference is a little lower than what's likely most idea regarding knee movement- but I compensate with different knee exercises. Plus to be quite honest, I don't RIDE much, I do a lot of tricks but I don't ride long distances. If I were to do a long distance ride, I'd absolutely put the seat up, so it's about balance/trade off.
      Glad you're enjoying the vids!

    Hi Chris, I love your videos, it is indeed a prettygoodchanel!! always puting a like!
    I'm really into Trial, can you make Uniquest on this topic? jumping higher, precision, crank and techniques on how to improve in general.
    That would be awersome, thanks!

      Thanks!
      Hmmm it is possible, but really I'm not a trials master! I could give tips on trials, and when designing UniQuest I did plan on putting trials into the system but its just not my expertise- so I'd feel a little out of my depth giving trials/sidehop tips. Might require a collaboration!

      An accurate estimate, probably in about a months time. Are you needing new things to practice??

    What height are these curbs?

      @PrettyGoodChannel  2 года назад +1

      Ooooh, jeez, it's not like I measure them. 20cm??

    • @Unicycle

      Wheel radius is about 25cm (20" / 2). The curb in the video seems to be close to the half the wheel radius, maybe about 15cm.
