I have smelled Bleu de Chanel.... I never got the hype. The smell lasted less than 1 hr, and all I smelled was grapefruit smell.
And since Chanel prides itself on using natural ingredients. I just guess that they used natural grapefruit essential oil, and that's why the smell didn't last.

I mean to me it has more facets of BDC with maybe some sweetness that reminds Invictus. 😅 People smell things differently, let em have it haha. I don't get YSL facets at all. Having Sheikh Al Shiukh Final Edition definitely gives me a YSL EDP feel, but 9am dive, not at all!
All in all 9am Dive is a great Swiss-army knife that can bail you out whole spring and summer, easily!
PS.. It's YSL not YXL 😅

I don't have the y edt so I couldn't have a opinion on the comparison. I do have the other flankers of that line tho but I get bdc edt mixed with a lil rasasi shurah without the big rose note on dive 🤷🏾‍♂️

Comparing this to Bleu de Channel reminds me how any cologne you wear some knuckle head asks if it's Acqua Di Gio or older person "is that Drakar Noir." 😂. Even if I'm wearing a Gourmont or Tobacco fragrance.
