I'm late but I am so happy to be able to relax with an after work Tate unwind!!!! Your babies look great. They grew so big and jungle-like. Great vibes.
Your joy & enthusiasm for each new leaf is contagious. Your plants did wonderful while you were away. No worries, you will be pest free before you know it. By the way, you remind me of my joy for houseplants that I had when I was your age. A couple of those original houseplants are still with me & growing well after about 40 years.
Just had my 1st spidermite infestation! Eff all these bugs...no judgment girl, we are all in a battle! Your plants look amazing considering..... I love your videos and am SOOOOO HAPPY YOUR BACK! YAY
I think the Pastazanum is not a Pastazanum but a Dean McDowell due to the texture of the leave, the color, the lopes and the red cataphyl. If you have time, please double-check. Love your updates
GIRL!!! I’ve missed your content a lot!!! So glad you’re back !! Love your hair cut! Man!!! I’m watching this video on your new growth and it’s taking me back to your previous videos and how the plants looked then!!! Summer warmth and sunshine did them so well!!! I LOVE your room aesthetic!!! I love your plants !!! GORGEOUS! P.S. pssshhh girl don’t even worry bout people judging-we ALL get pests!!! Don’t even worry bout that crap. YOUR plants are INCREDIBLE OH MY GOODNESS !!! KEEP POSTING UPDATES!!!!
Welcome back:) When my plants had thrips pretty bad, I soaked some of them in water for about 10-15 minutes, to kill of the bugs. Just the plant part, not the soil part🙃 Maybe that will work for the compacta. Good luck with the treatments❤️🌿
Good luck! I had a bad case of thrips and learned that they bury their eggs within the plant tissue, so every time I thought I took care of them, new babies were born. That lasted a very long time. In the end, only systemic pesticide helped me.
I'm actually looking forward to the pest treatment. Just in case I get some. I have noticed a few lady bugs on some of my plants so hopefully if/when I get pests they'll help keep the outbreak manageable
It’s so nice to see your plant progress Tate! So many beauties. I can always appreciate a pest treatment video. Been dealing w some myself! I would also be curious to see if you have any recommendations on ways to maximize light in a small space/small home, grow light recommendations, etc. Sending good vibes from NJ! 🪴
Your collection has grown so much since we last saw it, how exciting! Good luck with the mealies. I struggle with mealies more than any other pest. Though honestly if I HAD to choose between mealies and spider mites or thrips 😳, I would definitely choose mealies.
That was so fun! I’m about to leave my plants for 3 weeks and seeing how good your plants did after 3 months was encouraging! And on the positive side I think mealy bugs are the easiest pest to treat. 💚👍
This just tells you not to overthink plants. Just let them do their thing and they gonna grow and maybe even bloom! Well good luck with the mealies, I just found some on my Hoya Compacta too. That's gonna be fun 😂👌
I love your dark lord! Mine is finally putting out leaves after I moved it outside. Though I did have a period where it was putting out ripped leaves. I finally got it to stop doing that.
Loved watching this!! I’m leaving for college in four days and my mom is taking care of most of my plants while I’m gone. I’m moving to an apartment and have my own room so I get to take my favorites/expensive plants with me but watching this makes me kinda excited for when I come back during breaks and get to check out the rest and their new growth :)
I mean, if you're gonna have a pest infestation while you're away, that's probably the one I would choose! 🤷😁 And I'm totally here for ALL the pest maintenance you can throw at us!👍😅💚
Get a bunch of lady bugs and fill your room up with them! They’ll help you take care of the infestation while battling them. 😊 Pls make videos of you cutting back your plants and propagating, cleaning plants etc.
You may just want to go for systemic to get rid of those pests. Water the plants with it, wait a few days and they'll die off on their own without having to spray them all constantly.
Yeahhh I'm thinking of my plan of attack. Will probably do a sweep through removing as many as i can find then do the systemic to hopefully knock out any outliers
Wow so beautiful plants 🪴I love this video thanks for sharing my friend watching here new friend with full support please stay safe and connected see you around 👏😀😊👍☺
"could be doing better but has some alive parts" is honestly so relatable. Both for my plants and for my life in general
😂 sameeeee
Hahaha at least it's not all dead right???
@@TatesPlants hahaha exactly!
Why do I feel like Kelly Clarksons “Since You’ve Been Gone” should have been the theme song for this video! Lol all that jungle growth! 😍
Yes!!! That was going on in my head too every time she said, “Since I’ve been gone…” 😂😂
Your mom did a great job taking care of your plants

Oh how I've missed 30+ minute plant videos 🥰🌵
Hi,, beautiful plant
Cant wait to see the update w/ tate
I mean, if you're gonna have a pest infestation while you're away, that's probably the one I would choose! 🤷😁 And I'm totally here for ALL the pest maintenance you can throw at us!👍😅💚
I'm so curious what the instructions were that you gave your mom to care for your plants because they look great! That dark lord.. 😍🤤
I like this Chanel, because the collection of ornamental plants is very beautiful and well-maintained. #Aroid lovers 🙏😍😍😍
Get a bunch of lady bugs and fill your room up with them! They’ll help you take care of the infestation while battling them. 😊 Pls make videos of you cutting back your plants and propagating, cleaning plants etc.
No judgement, I have mealybugs all over the place because of a recent move, have you ever heard of a "fuck it bucket"? Ps I love the new haircut
I love your hair ❤
You look gorgeous 😍😍😍
You may just want to go for systemic to get rid of those pests. Water the plants with it, wait a few days and they'll die off on their own without having to spray them all constantly.

Your plants are so beautifful! Talking about pests, I lost several of my baby plants to an invasion of fungus gnats... Sigh.
Release some lady bugs on your compacta!!
You should just buy lady bugs and let them take care of the mealy bugs 😂
Can you video getting reed of the bugs and propagating please
use qtips and rubbing alcohol on the hoya carnosa !!
What if you tried air layering your campos? Thinking that you might at least get same sized leaves while waiting for roots to grow?!
💚
Please do videos with everything you do to fix all the things I missed you :(
Post all the things. Kill mealybugs on camera :)
Wow you cut your hair nice
question.. What type of insecticide you use?
Can't wait for the video when you kill the mealy bugs. I've been fighting these S.O.B's for months 😱😡😫😩
caaan i convince you to loose the plaid bed set? hah
Hi, I live in New York City, uptown Harlem, can I get some cuttings of some of your 🌱 plants, I’ll pay for it NYC🇹🇹
