im in 8th grade and we are playing hooked on a feeling and im playing the marching snare drum at halftime at a high school football game in 5 days and i cant wait!
I'm also on the drumline and it's amazing! This song is a part of our 3rd halftime show. We pause in the middle of the song and stop the DRUMLINE does part of a cadence and the band does a little dance then everyone goes down while the drumline goes down on their knees and the seniors remain standing and then they do a dance and the senior drumline members spin around it is so much fun. Then we picked up where we stopped and finished the show. Show 3 is a song from Stranger Things Then Die Young then shake it off
This is one of the pieces I’m playing for my concert soon! Along with handclap, and I’m a believer from shrek😂 my teacher let us choose and I don’t think she was very impressed but atleast we sound good

I play as trumpet and the rest of the trumpets suck but me I do everything so good and the others say "OMG! Your so good! Teach Me" and most of that is the trumpet people.
